It’s really discouraging to waste 30-40 minutes trying to gear a new alt to receive nothing but a menial increase in Azerite power.
World quests have set guarantees, why not one RNG roll on an actual item for each M+ run?

Because that’s completely counter intuitive to the idea of running dungeons in the first place. Not everyone gets loot from dungeons, and M+ is already the most lucrative form of content in the game for gearing. You wanna make it more lucrative? Raiding and PvP have nothing of the sort. Why would M+?
I don’t even both running Mythic+ for gear. Just +10 for the weekly chest.
Makes more sense for me to grind out my weekly conquest for guaranteed 430 gear.
Waste of my time to run mythic+ for no loot.
Anything below 10 is just to build raider.io rating. Get nothing else out of it it seems, even on a new character.
RNG already dictates the odds of said item being an upgrade for someone who is already close to the dungeons/mythics ilvl are quite low already as is… so at least give higher ilvl people a reason to run lower keys (guaranteed titan residium) and low ilvl people a reason to feel like spending 30-40 minutes on a dungeon is a guaranteed win.
Which is trash gear and easy to obtain , you are comparing world quest to a mythic+10 ? ![]()

The fact we’re discussing Mythic 10 at all is a disappointment.
Mythic feels like an ill-fated attempt to turn dungeons into an E-sport. I mean, it gives raid-quality gear and higher for doing things in the time-limit, right?
Frankly, it’s less people, harder mobs, and a healer that, usually, wants to kill about everyone there.
Ehh…no. if you’re trying to gear up, run with other people who use the same armor type. Use your extra rolls. I do m+ because i enjoy it. If you don’t, just do your one +10 and then do what you do enjoy.
Get good and time 15s. Everyone gets a piece of loot
The current goal of the devs is for everybody to be disappointed at all times. That way on the rare occasions you get something good, you’ll feel like you won the lottery.
And yes, I do world quests and thus have a bagful of utterly worthless azerite gear with no vendor value, which I can take the time to break down into mats I have no need for and are in very little demand, or just throw it directly on the ground.
You can run as many M+ as you like though, with a chance of getting an item.
I think this is nice rather than a lockout like Heroic and normal Mythic.
There’s no reason there should be a weekly lockout on normal mythic.
Keeps you from farming specific azerite pieces is my only thought.
It is there to “encourage” people to move up even when they’re not ready and need the extra work at the lower level of difficulty. They get trashed for being “bad” and end up never moving up.
It’s just another part of the social engineering that the devs seem to be addicted to, despite the fact that it doesn’t seem to be doing anything for the game.
It’s already an esport. It’s called the MDI.
I’m fine with not getting loot on every key I run. I do wish it were easier to get Azerite pieces though. I’d probably be 430+ ilvl by now if I weren’t having to wait to get enough Titan residuum to get Azerite items.
Idk why they aren’t included in the loot table for keystones.
To be fair, m2s aren’t exactly hard either, even at a 385-400 ilvl which is where you should be if you’ve run all the m0s you can run that week. I’ve leveled 5 120s the last month and decked them in benthic 385s and was more than capable of doing them.
I can agree to that. Though I’d say m2 is close enough and a good way for them to try.
It would have been nice. Then the tr vendor could have had all slots instead of just azerite slots. Would be nice to get a weapon from tr considering that’s been my unlucky point. After about 2 months of having a 375 weapon and getting no drops i had to pvp to get a 410 and i really don’t care too much for pvp these days.
Agreed. Put in the time, get the reward, that’s all there is to it.
Yes.
Heck if you weren’t Alliance I’d say come run keys with me. I swear weapons and trinkets fall from the sky for me. I ran some keys with my friend today and ended up giving him a 430 fist weapon and a 425 glaive cause I just didn’t need em.
