Something weird in my run tonight, mobs aggroed out of no where, randomly appeared. Must be some respawn rubbish blizzard has changed. The mobs have a stupid amount of hp and mechanics are unforgivening. Is this the push to destroy the franchise or is this what everyone wants?
Sir this is a wendys
Most likely that beard set them offā¦it does meā¦
Which dungeon?
And yes, Blizz intentionally changed the way keys are tuned.
Can I have a large frosty?
And a small fry, so I can dip them in the frosty thatās some good eats
Mobs appearing out of nowhere is actually a feature, when someone aggros something and then breaks itās pathing somewhere so that it āsnapsā to a different location. A big example is in Neltharus, if one of the mobs gets stuck on the random clutter/walls around the dungeon, they could get āstuckā and would eventually teleport back to the group, or in the situation after the Forge boss you can aggro the guys on the upper level, jump down, they will evade bug for a bit then teleport down to the lower level with the group.
In short, if it aggros and canāt just walk to you and gets stuck, it will eventually teleport to you unless everyone dies for it to drop combat.
Machines broken sry
Ok Iāll see you in court
Well that escalated quickly
Have to take it to the next level, talking to the manager just doesnāt work anymore.
Snapping has been in the game for YEARS
they upped the diffficulty because mythics last season were trivial.
To be fair, they didnāt actually up the difficulty. In fact, they made it easier by spreading the affixes out to +2, +5, and +10ā¦
However, what they did do is remove the low level key range (+2-+10) which makes everyoneās starting point much higher. So in that context, a ā+2ā may seem harder but it is still in line with or easier than a ā+12ā from last season.
This season when you are doing a key it is helpful to think of them as ten key levels higher than what you think. As Blizzard rolled the first 10 into Mythic 0, meaning a +2 is really what you were use to being a +12. The upside is you this means that mythic 0 is about on par with the normal raid in terms of ilvl.
Dungeon scaling at the mythic level was increased by 10 levels. So a mythic 0 dungeon in season 4 is about equal to a M+10 in season 3 in terms of difficulty. M+2 right now is like doing a M+12 when you were in Season 3.
They cut out the lower level keystones and said that nobody really does them anyway. IMO this will just alienate the many keystone players I say and helped in the +2 to +9 range from last season. Stupid move eliminating softer keys. While I think itās great for me pushing keys since itās very easy and fast to get a higher key now, I donāt think it was a great move for overall player base.
I agree. I donāt mind that they removed the softer keys, but the problem is that the progression path is unclear for most people now.
The difference between a heroic dungeon and an M0 is pretty much a 100% increase in difficulty. But there are no easy paths to progress between the two which is frustrating. Essentially, players have to rely on weekly lockout content (Vault, Rep quest/events, and LFR) to progress in dungeons now, which is a really bad change for accessibility.
If nothing else, they should bump up the difficulty/rewards from heroic to make the gap smaller.
I am pretty sure that is where LFR, weekly content and world bosses are supposed to come into play. With mythic 0 being an alterative to normal raids.
Right. But the problem with that is the weekly content is, well, weekly. So instead of being able to continuously progress in content like we were previously able to do, players hit a gear gate that prevents them from progressing until the following week.
Which would be fine if it was universal, but the gate only exists until you hit +2s and then you can progress as much as you want.
There needs to be a clear path of farmable progression for players to reach M+ dungeons like there was previously.
Unless you are a raider and not a mythic+ rat
Fair. But at least raiders have the option of doing M+. Although, I feel that this is going to have a huge impact on raiding next season because a lot of people will get stuck behind the dungeon gear gate in the early weeks of the x-pack.
