Blizzard must be joking if it thinks that M+ is going to be fun for people with trash mobs 2 shotting in a +2 Rookery mechanics are toxic Bird lazers are fast as heck, finally boss in rookery just chunks 35% of health with any damage. how am i supposed to heal that?
I’m 631 from last season this shouldn’t be an issue going back into mythic at the lowest level. Come on now, let’s get past this tuning for the 1% please. If they plan on getting rid of weak auras then they need to dumb it down for one and things need to stop chunking health more than 25% a hit.

Rookery is fine. (Although last boss was kinda hectic with 30 yard range.) Went overtime on a 7 due to not knowing mechanics, which is fine.
It’s fun.
Rookery is actually one of the easier ones. The only nastiness will be the add aoe(pools of darkness that drawn u in) and the last boss will require positioning of the pools and good coordination. Second boss at high key levels will also require controlling that debuff well.
The damage of happy hour on first boss of brewery made me sweat. They’re going to 100 percent nerf that in the future at some point.
I also saw a high number of priory failed keys which doesn’t surprise me. Nonetheless it’s first day. Experiment more.
Priory ranks as easiest thus far out of the ones I’ve done heh.
+2s drop 639, meaning you are 9 ilvls below EOD rewards. If it’s too hard for you then go farm Delves or M0.

i think mechanic wise priory isnt bad but positioning wise…i swear to god im going to install a backup camera on hunter players rear ends so they can look where they are backing up into.
Meh, I was doing a set group of some of the dudes from my raid team last night. The biggest issues we were having is we don’t know correct pulls or all the mechanics yet, but we timed 3 keys and completed 2, one of which we barely missed the timer on the final boss.
Seemed mostly alright, probably would be awful to pug, but it’s all gonna get nerfed to pieces within the next week or two like always anyway so I wouldn’t fret too much. Once people know fights, have gear, and Blizzard reduces a lot of %'s everyone will be cartwheeling through them.
M+ S2 has some design problems:
- Blakizon (2nd boss in Darkflame Cleft), you need to be on her face as both tank and melee. That probably should be a top priority to fix that boss.
- The caster packs in Rookery are basically web bolts on steroids. These packs have 5 casters with buffs that give more haste and you can’t purge them.
- The 1st boss in Cinderbrew and the group-wide AoE during the second phase is melting everyone. I am expecting Blizzard to nerf that.
- Floodgate is bit too long and there’s a lot of trash in there.
I was doing 1 million hps on mythic 0 which is hilarious. However the damage during happy hour is the only hard thing about the fight so idk how the tuning is going to go tbh.
Makes me feel so validated that other healers were actually having a hard time healing that on a m0. As rdruid with very high throughput and strong cds, I was clenching and ramping up to 1.5mil on those phases. It took thoughts and prayers to get the kill.
Yes, and I want to add I yelled at the group to pop their cd’s, so if they had gone YOLO it probably would have been considerably higher.
They just refuse to accept most people do not want to wipe in +2’s. M+ is dead now until someone new starts to run it. GG blizz
Really the only thing I saw last night that stuck out as ‘this sucks,’ as Disc anyway, probably less of an issue for some other healers.
Rookery is not fine. Plenty of buggy mobs clipping up to the first boss’s floor during his fight. AOE circles going out for final boss are double stacking its normal damage.
It will be fine once we get more experience and gear. I did a couple 6s today which weren’t bad.
Hey, this guy’s back. I haven’t even done all the dungeons yet to have an opinion, but I do know this guy spent all last season defending incredibly unpopular decisions that were widely hated by the community. I also know I have time to write this post on the forums because we’re sitting in finder, unable to fill a group on the second day of the season.
EDIT: The group broke up without ever finding a 3rd person. That seems like an ominous sign for the season.
