I’m quickly approaching 120, and I plan on doing M+ and Normal (MAYBE Heroic) raids as Mistweaver.
What talents should I be using for them?
M+

Diffuse (Others can be alright depending)

With Soothing Mist, is it OK to cast Vivify and Enveloping mist without it or should I always cast those with Soothing Mist.
It is higher throughput to spam Vivify, targeting whoever is low each cast. So if the group is taking large damage you shouldn’t be casting Soothing each Vivify. The general rule is to cast Soothing first only if you plan to cast more than one Vivify (or Enveloping). Of course if you don’t need huge throughput, you can afford to slowly heal people up one at a time with a mixture of Soothing/Vivify and try to keep your mana high.
Never hard cast Enveloping. It’s a long enough cast that you gain very little from not Soothing first. In addition when you cast Enveloping you are saying “this guy will take a lot of damage” so to not have soothing on them is generally wrong.
The only time I think I ever cast Enveloping outside of Soothing was Mythic Mekka, where I didn’t want my statue to change off a guy out of LoS, and the tank was getting hammered.
Alright thanks. A lot of times I forget to cast Soothing before (I’m used to healing on my Druid and Priest), so I find myself hard casting Vivify often.
