First week level to +10 fairly easy. did couple +10’s. yes deaths were mega punishing.
Last week. i would say 50% of all my keys were failed in first 2-3 pulls. Either by tanks that couldnt tank or didnt know route. Or healers that couldnt heal. It didnt matter key level. The lower the key got the worse the candidates that queued. Once it fell below a 9 i would say 50% of keys were fails.
Like something got to change. its so hard to pug this season because blizzard has put too much on deaths and personal responsability. On top of extreme class balance. Makes for a bad mix. Its hard enough to find a tank and healer let alone a qualified tank and healer.

Same goes for dps… Hard to find dps that don’t get hit by avoidable damage and use self healing + defensive cds.

thats true, i saw plenty that never kicked, or used defensive. one thing remained true is after about 10 deaths… everyone quits. I had so many keys just someone quit cause not my key not my problem.
Thank goodness KSM is a complete joke to get now, don’t need to do anything higher than a 6-7 since I’m not mythic raiding anymore and don’t need the rewards higher than delves/heroic raid gives. Honestly I’m happy blizzard has made it so I never have to spend more than a second after getting KSM in mythic+ anymore as I hate that game mode so so much.

also i have yet even get invited to key this season! I litterally have had make every key ive ran. It doesnt matter if i queue for 2,5,7,10. Its just wild how terrible this season has been. For blizzard to double down on punishments but do nothing to help try balance population.
Mythic+ pugging is always a mixed-bag.
You can do every mechanic perfectly, but your damage suffers slightly: Get rage from people for being too low on dps.
You can have people that just die on one shots because they don’t know the mechanics, and they will blame the tank/healer/other dps, then leave, bricking the key.
You can have tanks that want to pull everything like they’re speed running a heroic 5 man, then rage when they die because the rest of the group can’t keep up with them.
It makes me sad to have played this game for as long as it’s been out, but see less and less people that I’ve played with over the year log in that I would do keys with, so pugging/joining a random m+ guild (essentially no different than pugging) is kind of all there is left.

We’ve just been slow rolling M0’s and low keys across the alts.
Trying not to be too picky about who we invite or whose group we end up in to get the full PUG experience.
It has been everything from endearing, hilarious, all the way to absolute nightmare fuel.
We probably could join a guild of coordinated people and just pound them out but I’m not in any rush. Also playing with really sweaty people actually stresses me out more than failing with regular people just trying to improve.

thats my situation. I 100% agree with what you said. This expansion deaths are just too punishing especially with how much damage the dungeons do on top of lack of tanks and healers this expansion.

As I tank, I’ve been kicked for asking people to please buff (like, class buffs, nothing more).
As a healer, I’ve left many because the tank and dps pull far more than can be handled, and not used cd’s, only to blame me for them dying to avoidable mechanics.
As a dps, I’ve been kicked for asking what the interrupt chain will be for certain mechanics.
As a person, I’ve decided that I’ll not bother with much of the group content because it’s become so toxic for non-issues, and players demand perfection, but supply weaponized ignorance.

Max level keys with rewards providing max crests and mythic track in the vault is somewhat hard to no voice yolo pug week 2.
Shouldn’t that be a good thing/normal?
It was easy week one. It was misserable week 2. Because everyone on week 2 left after 5 deaths. Tanks try MDI pull. Healers that cant heal… Then once you drop below 9 key well good luck only tanks queuing up have done +3 Maybe. No one will queue for below +9
If you timed all 9’s and are pushing 10’s as an example, the problem is that you spend 30 minutes leveling up a depleted key at a 9, but groups feel like they just ought to quit if you had 1 wipe 2 minutes into a 10.
Lets say because of this 90% of your time is spent on something that you do not want to do.

exactly, Thats was 100% what happened last week. I spent entire time leveling keys. Then some priv’d tank decided to quit 2 pulls into dungeon. This happened multiple times.
didnt you say you had no issues with first week +10

The community is very toxic and abusive. Not to mention tanks thinking it’s their job to round up 32 mobs each pull or else someone else will do it for them.
The timer breeds competitiveness. Competitive players getting sweaty and serious will lead to frustration and the blame game.
The timer is the core of the problem and it should be replaced in favor of a different scoring system.
Furthermore, there aren’t as many tanks b/c you guys scare them all away when they are trying to learn in normal, heroic, and timewalking dungeons. You pull for them, you laugh at them and you vote kick them for not going fast enough when they are learning.
As I said. It’s a toxic community one that would rather beat players down instead of lift players up.

Maybe all the better players moved to 11s?
If you’re golden on 10s you can join them?
You would think… sadly there 100’s of dps to every dps/ healer. So i dont even get invited to +5 let alone +10. So only dps actually get invited at 622+ world first raiders.
we need our old m2-9 on ramp to higher keys.
people need a space to learn routes, mob counts, and mechanics without such significant consequences.
very few people in DF s2 started out their m+ journey in a +10 or +12 key. heck, a lot of people never got that far. but today, that is where we start.
i suggest that it wasn’t that impactful for most people in DF because it happened half way through the expac. most people had a pretty good idea of the dungeons already.
here, we are just tossed in. and a couple of the throwback dungeons are pretty brutal. the new dungeons from this expac have a more open world feel and the routes are not obvious.
I don’t care if things are difficult and not obvious; i just want an avenue to learn.

They forced responsibility on players… oh no… now people can’t have the tank never die and the dps just stand in everything because only really high keys would one shot… they made keys an actual challenge and players got to step up… its actually testing players and the community is showing that they play poorly.

It’s a combination of things.
Keys tuned to hit harder: Players who don’t use defensives regularly; Yolo interrupt/don’t track other interrupts; dungeon familiarity; etc…
OP, the people who you originally timed 10s with the first go around likely did their research and were prepared. Now they are likely trying 11s and 12s. People are trying to sneak 10s in for vault purposes now whether they can be reasonably timed or not based on their experience/skill.
