M+ needs a punish system like solo shuffle does

It is beyond annoying and ridiculous, how M+ has been in the game longer than shuffles have, yet shuffles have a punish system in place to slow/prevent players from leaving the game when they get salty.

I have experienced more M+ key brickers in literally 1 day, than I have seen players leave an arena match over the course of a month.

There is no worse feeling than wasting 10, 15, 20+ minutes running with a group, only for someone who can’t take criticism or anything to die or cause a wipe, get mad, and rage quit because their feelings are hurt.

the fact this has been an issue for years and nothing has been done at all to address it is terrifying if you ask me

Shuffle is random queue. BGs are Random queue. Heroic dungeons are random queue. LFR is random queue. Do you get the picture yet?

Manual normal dungeon. No punishment.
Manual heroic dungeon. No punishment.
Manual mythic dungeon. No punishment.
Manual normal raid. No punishment.
Manual heroic raid. No punishment.
Manual mythic raid. No punishment.

Finish this one for me.
Manual M+. No _____.

The fact that you sock puppeted by liking your own post 5 times and bumped it is hilarious.

Queue content has deserter punishment.

Manual groups don’t.

Pre-made arena teams don’t get a deserter for bailing.

you have 15000 forum posts. you’re the definition of a loser. go outside lmfao

You call me the loser, but you are the one that needs to feign popular opinion with self-liking your own posts and bumping it with sock puppets.

Game should just reward people for staying in groups/finishing keys more.

Better reward structures and systems is what everyone should want. Not punishments. At the end of the day its a game no one should be asking for more “punishment” systems.

Also there’s an entire argument to made about group made content and we really don’t need another one of those threads.
If you invite or join a group, you signed up for whatever happens. Que systems can punish because the game is dictating your team mates.

they do actually, for like a minute.

To prevent mass deranking.

Full crests for untimed keys would do wonders.

give me one solution that isnt worse than the current problem

No, it does not. If you’re seeing people dropping group that often, it is most likely that you are doing something that is instigating it or you are pushing keys at the level where single mistakes brick the key.

I’ve seen more trolls in the last week then the last couple of years combined.

  1. 3k+ IO aug player deliberately rescuing people into frontals in Dawnbreaker and then leaves the party on the last boss and tries killing us with Spinnerets and Acid Waves.
  2. Tank leaves the group right as the dungeon timer starts because the host didn’t invite their friend.
  3. Tank does giga pull at the start of Ara, wipes us, and leaves saying get fukt.

With that logic, every person who has ever left one of your key runs, its your fault.

You missed the word often.

This cuts both ways though, OP.

I was just in a group doing a random 10. The entire group was in a guild where the healer was obvi a “carry”

That healer let me die more than once on pulls that I’m expected to make and it was obvious they were struggling. I asked if I needed to slow down (in a nice way) and then the entire team just starts berating me, using foul language and being overall poop-heads.

After ignoring what was said, I whispered the priest with “not trying to be rude, just asking …b/c i’m not doing anything that I dont normally do…”

no answer.

So, I left. Yes, I know it bricked the key. But was this MY fault?
I kid you not, i had SIX whispers from all of these people calling me names etc.

Should i have been punished for that? I reported each of them for their language but again, was I the “key-bricker” in this case? Or is this yet ANOTHER case of tankless guild groups trying to carry people in higher keys than their buddy belongs…

Maybe don’t criticize players mid game?

there is no reason to punish someone for leaving in a mythic plus most people leave after a few wipes they dont want to be in a group that is not going to time the key
