I’ve done upwards of 15 dungeons and just received my first drop, from Mechagon.
Not expecting handouts but damn.

I mean, I’ve done 25 mechagon workshops this week alone and have not seen the haste ring drop one time. It took 18 runs to get the junkyard one.
Loot feels weird.

It does. Not just “bis” loot but loot in general. I haven’t gotten #%@^.
No. The S4 M+ loot drop rate is unchanged from previous seasons.
M+ loot isn’t harder to get.
BiS pieces from M+ is a completely different animal however, due to the fact the mecha rings exist, by default it’s much harder to get targeted BiS rings.
(Albeit many people don’t know this secret, but other items exist that you can use other then BiS pieces)

That is highly unlikely but not impossible.
Guess thats RNG, i’ve done about 30 keys and havent gotten a ring drop 
I got KSM doing barely above the minimal requirements and have one piece of M+ per slot, even gave away some gear. RNG is just being RNG.

If only there was some type of currency that could be redeemed for gear as a form of bad luck protection. Super points maybe? Hmmm. Not sure about that name, but Blizzard should look into something like that.

I mean maybe weapons/trinkets and special effect items like mechagon rings on a vendor for 2500 Valor each and they start at 1/12 upgradable.
Every time someone says they haven’t gotten a drop in 10+ dungeons, what they mean to say is that they haven’t gotten a drop they wanted in 10 dungeons. They like to omit that so that people pity them more.

M+ is 2/5 chance to get loot.
Doesn’t matter if you run 1 or 1000 those odds stay the same. Goodluck.
I do miss when it was 3/5 though.
Yeah loot volume hasn’t changed, still seeing 2 drops per run. I also haven’t gotten many actual drops (7 after like 20-25ish dungeons?). Only 4 were usable.
idk how many workshops im at right now but i ain’t stopping until i get the ring. but that’s my mindset i guess. takes time sometimes to farm bis

we all know less loot drops 2 instead of 3 like bfa and legion because its so easy to get good loot in keys right?
Pretty sure there is same amount drops in m+ now as in bfa. You only got 3 drops in legion if you 3 chested, but you’d also only get 1 if you 1 chested. BfA and SL both give you additional loot drop chances in keys above 15.
It is possible, friend of mine did a bunch of keys this weekend and didnt get a single drop.
I got the grimrail trinket 3 times though.
