The system is sucks for loot drops. It’s been a few expansions of the same disappointment. 1st two raid tiers of DR, I couldn’t get weapons on my Shaman. Now I can’t get jewelry. Grant it, I’m a JC and can craft them, BUT, why do I need to wait weeks on end to get to that point? When I do get loot, it’s for the same slots over and over and over again. Who designed this garbage system? On the bright side, pugs who act like loot goblins are ALWAYS HAPPY to take your stuff. What do you get in compensation? Jack! And he left town.
Yeah, I’m venting. Cause it’s been 3+ weeks of this terrible experience and feels like a waste of time for effort in trying.

I suggest running keys because you enjoy them and not for the loot.
Or farm the dungeons you need.
Maybe add a token system where every time you don’t receive loot you get a token and at the end of a M+ you can use 3 token to guarantee a loot drop from the chest that gave you nothing!

Frankly, I’d like to see them do away with vault and just give us weekly currency to buy 1 slot. Make it where you can only buy gear from a boss/level you’ve completed before, and make it for both raiding and M+, maybe keep vault for PVP since you already buy specific pieces with conquest.
Contrary to all the argument I’ve heard on the subject, it definitely feels lame to have to farm content over and over and over for a specific piece you want. Let people spend their time pushing instead of farming, IMO.

At least Mythic+20 and above should drop 3 pieces of gear like before, instead of only 2 pieces which makes everyone’s grind insanely long.

Would at least give a reason to run 20’s instead of 18’s if all you’re going for is vaults.
It does. You get 20% added chance of an extra item per key level which has been the same since at least Shadowlands.

Then remove the gold investment needed to do dungeons, or increase the gold received upon completion. Spending 35 minutes for 5 dungeons in a row to get 54g isnt a great feeling
So in otherwords, a system that a fraction of players will benefit from xD
Not really my point, more saying nothing has changed this expansion compared to last.
Ah yeah, the wow council wants to restrict M+ loot by implementing a weekly lock out like raid

I just wish we could have a dungeon loot dropdown option like we do with spec loot.
Having to spam the same dungeon 50 times to target farm what you still need is awful. It gets so boring.
I wanted to have variety in dungeon runs but I needed to do like 50+ BRH to get my ring.
you mean the community council? they have precisely zero influence on game design decisions.
If you don’t enjoy it don’t do it.
yep bad loot RNG causes people to quit, although the upgrade system makes it not as bad as before

Cool, can you tell me how else i can get ilvl upgrades? World gear is low ilvl (already above it), and i already do lfr, normal raid, and heroic raid (with guild cant get into mythic raid due to low ilvl) and due to being more PvE focused PvP gear isnt well suited either. So enlighten me
Commenting on why a bad system is bad is good for the overall longevity and health of a game. Burying your head like an ostrich (which is what you are doing now) isnt the way to deal with issues and doesnt get you far <3
They have more sway than an average joe tho too at the same point. Just disappointed with people as a whole
