If they want to fix M+ Loot this is what they should do.
Loot from the chest at the end of a dungeon should give the same quantity of loot whether you meet the timer or not. It should give one additional piece to what it currently does.
On top of that the loot should be the same ilvl as what you get from the great vault per level cleared not a tier below it. The great vault shouldn’t be a chance to get better loot it should just be another chance to get a piece of loot you w been targeting.
We don’t need a currency system. We need more loot drops and higher level drops for the completion of dungeons.

So you want to give people 226 gear for depleting 14’s with no lockout? Glad you are not in charge of the game.

Wait
You want infinitely farmable 226 gear?
Lol
Why not?
Pvpers are literally covered in gear from time spent pvping. I have no problem with it. You’ll also find that the % of people who clear 14s without purchasing carries isn’t that high.

In no way should you be receiving a 220 ilvl item in the end of instance chest for just completing a 10 key. I would agree that they need to either undo the loot reduction from mythic+ and raids or add some kind of backup currency but they are not going to up the ilvl reward to match the vault. Hell you don’t even get an ilvl bump in your raid great vault reward.
Because you would absolutely kill mythic raiding and PvP. PvPers have a lockout called the conquest cap. You can only buy 1 piece of gear every 1-2 weeks. Your idea would make it so everyone would be full 226 gear 1 or 2 weeks in to the patch. Then what is the point of playing after that?

The % of the playerbase that participates I. Heroic and mythic raiding is minute these days. Raiding is an antiquated model now. It may have been awesome 10 years ago but times change.
Because there is this thing called “conquest” cap. It takes time to buy and level all your items in the PvP system. There is no cap on how many times you can run a mythic+ instance. This is the first time in years PvP gearing has been worth a damn, let them have their time in the sun. Blizzard has already said they are going to tweak PvE gearing, so just wait and see what they have planned.
Please provide your source to the fact that raiding in WoW is a minute % of the player base?
Getting 226 for depleting 14s is absurd but more absurd to me is that bricking a 10, a friggin 10, would give you the same ilvl loot as Heroic Sire. That’s ridiculous.
I actually would not mind higher keys awarding higher ilvl loot, I think like M20 or something like that dropping 220 infinitely would not break the game because that would be a serious friggin journey to get a key up that high, but 220 from bricked M10s is completely laughable.
Yup. M10 is like baby’s first keystone at this point. The idea of getting 220 is a complete farce. You already get 203 gear from it and that’s pretty good return for the effort all things considered. M10s are really not that bad. It scales up quickly from 10 to 15 and then from 15 to 20 but M10s are basically free and the loot is honestly not too bad if you’re causal relative to the difficulty. Dropping 220 instead of 203, though, top kek.

Not going to argue with you. Your idea is bad unless your goal is to kill the game.

There is something wrong. Grind 10 M+ dungeons 15 key level or better to get NOTHING!! Either a duplicate, 3 item levels higher or stats that are total garbage! It is nearly a complete waste of time. There is NO/ZERO reward to look forward to for the time and EFFORT put in. Oh but we get a chance!?!?!? If not, sorry all you paying suckers, try again next week! WE DONT CARE! Your satisfaction is NOT guaranteed! sincerely, Blizzard.
There should be a GUARANTEE of some sort for that time and effort. I just completed 10 15keys in a week, I should know I am going to get something I WANT/NEED!!! Why is that a problem? What is odd is that the same top players from previous seasons, seem to always have the best gear from the vault. Now how is that? Thats RNG? Their RNG is better/luckier? That doesn’t sound like RNG to me.
there is. you get three items to select from. The items are randomly generated though.
what, you want a list of every possible loot item in the game for you to select from? that’s not going to happen.
yes. it’s RNG.
Is this like an out of season april fools thread?
Well I upgrade my BP on my main from a 200 to a 223. Even my alt got a 203 weapon upgrade this week. So far only one week has not had an upgrade for my DH. But I tend to unlock at least 4 slots on my DH and rogue, so I have more chances at them.
Make all M+ and raid loot upgradeable to mythic level cap. Drop at different starting points depending on what content it comes from.
Make a reagent required to upgrade to certain key item levels given to you from your vault and only if you either do Mythic raid boss X or M+ level Y+. Don’t give people more for doing both. Just enough to upgrade one piece a week or every 2 weeks or whatever.
Having to get the same piece of loot over and over again at different item levels is a Diablo III looting style that isn’t fun or interesting. I don’t need or want to find the same RNGtastic piece of gear multiple times as I progress. If I find it once I should then keep that one piece and improve it. That’s a more MMO approach, the current approach is what you’d expect in an ARPG.
Dear level 50 forums boy,
-
What if I can’t use one of the 3 items, or 3 heroic raid items or 3 PVP items??
-
No I don’t want a list… your comment warrants a harsher response, but I won’t (this guy) The system could be revised. You wanna talk about it or something?

RNG, w/e
Farmable currency from completing M+ dungeons.
Based on the keystone level you’ve timed across all eight dungeons you can use that currency to upgrade the quality of that piece to whatever the lowest keystone level among all eight of those dungeons’ Great Vault piece is.
All 7s timed: Upgrade any dungeon piece to up to 213 item level.
All 10s timed: Upgrade any dungeon piece up to 220 item level.
All 15s timed, aka. Keystone Master: Upgrade any dungeon piece up to 226 item level.
All 20s timed: Upgrade any dungeon weapon of your choosing up to 233 item level.
If the concern is that this might deck players out too quickly then place a limit on how many pieces/how much currency you can spend per weekly reset, such that you can upgrade one piece of your choosing to 226 per week.
I will add that it would be unfair if I did not point out that it is better than previous seasons, much better, but still…
The solution is literally a Justice/Valor vendor. Everyone knows that.
