ive had tanks leave multiple 10s now. Its pretty wild…
I’m playing blood dk and at 605 ilvl in a 8 i’m getting melee’d for half my health bar or more by these packs.
M+ getting sweatier with every season by the looks of it.
If 2-3 people get one shot multiple times to the very slow swirlies at the start of Grim Batol without popping defensives,
If people cant do more than 300-500k dps @ 605+ ilvl,
If a tank isnt using their defensive/self healing abilities at all,
Yes I will be leaving the group when it inevitably goes south because there is only so much stupid one can heal and it gets tighter the higher you go. I was pretty patient during 2’s and 3’s and even 4’s but at some point you just start to know when it’s a lost cause.
I am there to time the keys. If you want an untimed completion key put it in the notes.
I mean, 605 is 21 item levels off what you can farm from M+, and 34 item levels off the max gear you can get from vault in M+. That is a lot of stamina you’re missing out on. I mean hell, you can farm to 606 item level running +2s, and you are one item level off that.
M+ might be overtuned this season. But you are pretty squarely undergeared for nearly the top of the reward tree. I feel like it’s going to be hard to determine how well M+ is tuned until you’re closer to what is dropping from those keys.

That new affix means a single wipe is a brick and its on arguably the worst dungeon line up we’ve ever had.
Yeah i’ll probably just stick to like 6’s until i can get more ilvl. But blood is always a single global away from death most of the time cause of its 0 mitigation class design.
Which is brutal on a lot of these fights like the first boss of stonevault.
Yeah, absolutely nothing in my response should be taken to mean M+ is in a good spot overall or that the other parts of the system are doing well. Just highlighting that from the perspective of a tank getting smacked for a good chunk of health, being nearly a full seasonal tier worth of item level behind max, and at least 50% of a seasonal tier worth of item level behind what is very farmable from levels below what you’re doing, that’s to be expected.
This toxic people are even leaking into normal mode when trying to level alts. Blizz really needs to do something about unwarranted kicks and leavers and a stupid lockout debuff is not the answer.
It’s crazy to me that normal/heroic dungeons have been the most toxic I’ve seen in years.
Like, there’s no reason to be bitter and resentful of folks that are running something for the first time.
They need to see the mechanics to learn them.
I’d probably also rework how vote-kicks work, because they are way too common. Always some guy that fails a mechanic and is booted instantly for it.
Behavior needs to be reigned in, hard.
Yes, M+ is overtuned and hard and all that, but you don’t go abusing kids because you had a bad day at work.
It’s assumed people know everything by now. Others could study up if they don’t pick up things intuitively.
I had to vote kick this guy named brann bronzebeard (wierd name I know) the other day for standing in stuff and not interrupting as well. His dps was decent when he was actually doing it. Most of the time he just kept leaning up against walls and sleeping. It was so frustrating but I finally rallied up enough votes and away he went! Hunters… it’s always the hunters!!
