M+ known bugs and feedbacks

Here are some bugs and fbs after playing quite a lot of high M+ this season:

First of all please fix the invisible circles bug, it’s been there for more than a year. Everytime DH or evokers double jump and a circle targets their feet it will cause an invisible circle and players die a lot. It’s been there throughout the whole exp.
Examples include:

  • Stone and lightning swirlys in RLP, arrow rain and lightning swirlys in NO, Arcane swirlys in AV, and big green swirly in Academy
  • Slime swirlys in underrot, spear in neltharus, freehold water swirly, HoI mob jump circle, Uldaman throw stone circle
  • Root burst from DHT, spear mob jump circle from BRH, Risen dragon circle from DoTI

Here are specific bugs and fbs:

Waycrest:

  • Pallid gorger will melee attack dps players after he jumps out. Prob caused by previous hotfix.

  • Heartsbane witches boss randomly melee attack dps players as well.

  • Raal’s call servants add - if being typhooned too far it will reset the boss fight.

Everbloom:

Sol:

  • Please delay the fire puddle tick by a bit. It’s a bit too punishing to tick instantly.

  • Please consider removing the line of sight pillars in the middle. It’s causing multiple bugs like arcane targeting melee players instead of the one baiting.

  • Please make the cinderbolts damage more consistant/make players take the same damage. 3 and 4 hits of cinderbolts are entirely different. If unlucky, players take 2 hits of cinderbolts continuously. One hit on a +27 tyran is 424k and healers can’t heal anything if you take two hits in a row, cuz u die within 0.5s. Make this mechanic less RNG based please.

  • A bug from our healer: Rewind doesn’t work on this boss. It’s healing 11k after taking like 900k damage.

  • Lots of healing spells and trinkets will heal the npcs during Yalnu fight

Atal’Dazar:

  • Some spells can hit the mobs outside of Vol’kaal’s entrance. It’s blistering scales from what we checked.

  • If players use greater invis/vanish/shadowmeld on Yazma, it will screw up its spell que, causing extremely difficult timelines like Wrecking pain right after soulrend.

ToT:

  • If Ulthok knocks back a player too far it will reset the boss.

  • Please consider reducing the initial flame shock damage from Ghursha

  • Please delay the ink puddle tick by a bit. It’s also an instant tick.

DoTI:

  • Manifested Tmeways: Players easily take 2hits if they are standing closeby when dispelled (not stacked). They also take two hits if moving during the dispel.
  • Tyr exploit still exists. DH can jump out of the platform and jump back in, and make tyr a dummy. That’s how people time +27 and+28 with so much time left.
  • Please increase the cast time of the bleed spell from Timelost battlefield…

That’s not a bug. That’s just what they do.

I don’t think it’s intended for players to die within 0.5s on a +28 fort lol…

This mechanic is so unclear it ranks as my least favorite for the entire tier. The communication from the game is very poor.

The mechanic is that if you pass through the fast dispel circle, it deals x damage every 0.5s.
Why you dispel in the fast zone is that the ripple will pass through other players so fast that they only take one tick of damage,BUT, if they are accidentally moving the same direction as the ripple, they take 2hits and die.

This happens so often cuz people are constantly moving trying to stay in the dark zone to take less damage.

Yeah you can find a way to solve this with your own team but I can imagine the amount of suffering on group finders.
