M+ killed this game for me

Not to mention how many complaints I remember seeing of how the people who had zero luck couldn’t get the tier set combination to make their spec play more optimally. The balancing of sets was awful. Never saw what was so special with them. I’m sure they can make something else that can have people want to reclear, or whatever a raid.

My guess is Torghast is Blizzard’s answer to the Raider IO complaints since you’ll be able to go in there solo or with less than a full group. We’ll see how the reward structure winds up.

If you enjoy doing M+ over Mythic raiding then yes, you don’t have a reason to log in to raid but you now DO have a reason to log in and do M+ dungeons.

I don’t know why this is such a hard concept… Blizzard has given you various means to gear up so you can do the content that you enjoy doing and if you see yourself doing M+ over Mythic raiding then that means that you, as an individual, enjoy M+ more than Mythic raiding.

And if it turns out you don’t enjoy M+ but choose to do it over Mythic raiding because you find it a more efficient means to get loot then the reality is you don’t like either M+ or Mythic raiding, you just like getting loot so there you go… Blizzard has given you multiple ways to get loot and you decide for yourself what’s the quickest way to get it.

You have bis stuff from raid (with guaranteed corruption), and some bis stuff from m+, a proper mythic raider (like you somehow claim to be) would do both to maximize the gearing path, so i dont see the issue, unless you actually wanted to raid log but you cant, in that case go to classic, there people can be lazy and raid log.

Can you post on your main that has done any form of raiding or mythics?

Your approach on a low level toon makes you seem like a salty troll.

The simple problem is why Blizzard historically does not offer more than one way to gear up. If you have “parallel” paths, then one path will inevitably be “easier” and/or “faster” than the other, and the mix maxers will dive down that road, and that road only.

It follows the myth that “Raiders play to raid” and “Twinks like fair matches”.

Most people “play to gear”, so they take the easy way out.

If you have low IO how do you have good XP and achievements?

I enjoy running dungeons and raiding, so I do both… because it’s a game that I play to have fun.

Why is this complicated?

And?

Why do people HAVE to raid? Raids have never been popular with only ~30% of the population doing it until LFR was introduced and increased it to 60%. If people just want to gear and they want the easiest path to do it then so what? That tells you that your content isn’t actually that engaging if people don’t want to do it for the simple sake of enjoyment.

i dont have a low io lol

What are you talking about?
And btw im guessing by your posts your a BM hunter.
You know what RogerBrown is using?
Mostly raid gear including both azerite pieces from last bosses.
He is also using both Raden trinkets from you guessed it the raid.
He is also using a 460 bow.
Thats 15 ilvls lower than what he used for CE.
And again you guessed it. Its from the raid.

agree, m+ damaged gearing a lot by not having any limits and lockouts. You can just grind until you have bis.

YUP!! Majority of the highest IO players also happen to be decked out in raid gear. It’s not hard to assume why. Raid gear is easier to get more reliably than M+ gear is from a weekly lottery box.

M+ is infinitely more difficult to complete a good set on than raiding. Shadowlands legit fixes the box lottery issues but it STILL requires 3 months of doing it constantly to get a full set.

This whole notion that M+ exclusive players have it easy on gear is ludicrous.

Exactly.
To get fully decked in mythic raid gear from m+ would take what 9 weeks.
And then thats if you get no Dupes and perfect stats.
And then roll perfect azerite and corruption.
Yea m+ is so much faster.

Is this a pro timegating post?

it’s pro consistency post. Why does some things locked out and others not?

M+ saved the game for me. I enjoy challenging content but can’t commit to the regular schedule needed for raiding. M+ has given me content that I can do with guildies who raid without falling too far behind gear-wise. It’s the only way that I’m able to do challenging content with guildies. I’m so glad that it’s in the game.

Mythic plus gears as a faster rate then raiders do. Doing mythic plus is almost required to enter raids and keep up. Most raiders now out gear the content before stepping in. That is why people who only want to raid and not touch mythic plus get so frustrated with this current system.

It’s fine to like raiding, it’s fine to like mythic plus. But it’s not fine when one get’s forced into doing the other just to keep up with their own.

So your upset that once a week you have a chance to get 1 single random 475 out of a pool of 100 items. Keep in mind this item also cant be traded. In the raid even with personal loot you have the luxury of trading gear which happens weeks into a tier. I have got completely worthless gear the last 2 weeks btw from m+ chest. Are you going to argue that out of 12 bosses your only averaging 1 item per week? Not including the fact that you can bonus roll specific bosses for loot which you cannot do for the m+ chest. Never mind the guaranteed corruption affects on some loot and the trinkets that are better than anything from m+ by a mile.

Why not enjoy both? Raiding is fun, pushing keys is fun. I would rather have a alternative to raiding for something to do on non raid nights
