M+ is garbage now

This expansion is a reskinned DF except they turned the fun DF season 3 into a 0.001 elitist garbage. Everything about TWW content is catered to basement dwellers that play 24/7. Let’s see.

Myth track is now 16 ilvl higher than hero track (was 5)
Only +10s give myth track loot from vault (was +6 in season 2 and +8 in season 3)
Returning m+ dungeons are garbage because either they’re unfun and boring crap (Siege/Mist) or are overtuned af (NW/Grim Batol).
M+ trash used to be about pulling big and fun, not anymore thanks to the stop changes that nobody asked for xd
Affixes are garbage too, kiss/curse always happens at the worst times, makes Shamans mandatory.
Oh and affixes didn’t go away, we now have {Removed} Peril that bricks the key after just 1 wipe, amazing.

Anyways, Elitist have 0 issues timing keys regardless of difficulty, so m+ could be much easier and those guys can still have fun timing +19s, +30s or whatever high number they feel challenging, so there’s no need to make m+ harder and kill it for anyone else xd

I’ve been around a long time. This is nothing new. The we want things harder crowd gets their dream patch. Customers stop playing because of this. Blizzard sees the metrics and reverses course because the pocketbook is king.

TBH the changes in M+ this season scream the same thing with heroics in Cata.
People wanted heroics to be hard again because they were a joke in Wrath.
They made them hard again.
The nerfed them like 2 weeks into cata.

I do keep having a sense of “typical season 1”

Season 1 always feels grindy and difficult cause they put all the time gating they can imagine into it.

Season 3 they start to work on the next expansion, stop caring how much people progress, and all of the sudden it’s “here’s your legendary vendor”

Who wanted mythic dungeons to be that much harder? I thought the top percentile only cared about the challenge and glory of completing hard content?

The gear disparity 16 item level is too much

5 to 10 max is more reasonable.

Low keys are still absurdly easy.

People are just mad that they can’t get myth track loot for heroic level difficulty/effort anymore.

WoW in general is pretty mid compared to just about any other game.

This past month ive played Palworld, Elden Ring, Space Marines 2, and Smite more than WoW.

WoWs big thing is being laid back and casual friendly. It’s good for podcasts and alt screening.

I miss last year. Things like Plunderstorm and Remix kept me logged into WoW almost everyday.
