The point is that M+ for years was a giveaway, playing the WoW equivalent of Candyland and getting the best gear in the game in return.
Now, the rewards are much more in line with the challenges to get them.
That’s a good thing.

Much more in line with a full roster of 5 like-minded people. Because for pugs its an absolute show, and yes we all know the pug life is hard but this season in particular is stupidly hard.
You won’t get any argument from me that Blizzard needs to de-emphasize pugging and put effort into getting people into guilds and communities, where they would be much happier.
Been saying that for years.
Well, to be fair it is but an option to pug, however I think the guild and community finder could use SOME WORK for sure. I am a fan of the communities I’m a part of, but I didn’t find out about them in the community finder. (WME)
Lets not assume guilds and communities have their cliques and groups where newcommers are allowed in.
You’re right, we should just let everyone continue to be miserable and hopeless and complain eternally on the forums because they can’t get anything done, instead.
Some work?
The community/guild finder isn’t even a half-hearted attempt on Blizzard’s part. It’s a big middle finger to the playerbase.
The game design now punishes pugging and that’s a good thing. It’s an mmorpg for a reason. Become a little social, make some friends, and push.
I agree entirely, maybe I should emphasize that for you and any reader.
I’m just saying how it is right now, i misread what you said.
yeah i absolutely support this.
i would not say its dead but its very close to it.
they have made it so only the sweatiest of the sweats do m+ anymore. and with how delves rewards work doing any m+ under 7 is not really worth it unless ur farming crests but that crest farm doesnt last long.
Way easier said than done
I hear you. getting into a 10 is harder than getting into the pants of Pamela Anderson. invisible gating everywhere
Unfortunately he is right, prime time OCE and prime time US have very minimal groups.
I tried finding a Stonevault and Kara between M5-7 the other day, there was one up for both dungeons, 10 minutes later there was two. I kept trying but it took me some 15 minutes to find one of them and as a tank it wasn’t the issue of not being invited, there was just nothing to be invited to.
Most of the keys the game gives us are Mists, Siege, or Wake.
Good it needs to die. Absolute garbage.
Furthermore, Blizzard recently announced that WoW can now be played totally solo from beginning to end! I’ll bet you dollars to donuts Midnight’s big expansion feature will be the removal of the Guild Finder; I mean, no one was using it anyway…
M+ have been dead for few years now. This is not new.
Sure, if you want to play the game for no reward and spend forever gearing up to some pitiful iLVL go ahead and play solo. Until the day comes where I can do keys or a full raid without other players, not just the last boss, than no, the game cannot be done solo.
good. timers in video-games SUCK. i can’t think of a single level in any game, where having a time-limit makes it more fun.
