It’d be cool if they did keystone tuning so there was more than one comp every season.
Even pvp gets more time and respect.

M+ turned this game from a chill raiding and dungeon running game into a tryhard sweat fest with an esport focus in tuning ruining the fun for most and why most players quit after Legion.
The game used to be fun now it’s fun for most of those left who are part of that tiny community.
I enjoy M+ immensely. Just not this Season. I just couldn’t get with it.
Necrotic Wake and Ara-Kara absolutely killed my spirit, not even gonna hold you.
2019 classic showed me retail doesn’t have a monopoly on sweatiness.
Dude people tryharding classic was so wild
it’s like those larping airsoft guys
Those were just people from private servers that played normally on harder private clusters and memorized every spell, piece of loot, and whatever from the game. Classic is a horrible game experience but that’s a different subject. I couldn’t even tell you what 99% of the gear in this game is or where it’s from, and most mounts, etc… cause I don’t care.
i dont get how one game mode out of multiple ones made the whole game just bad.
pvp has been in the game since a few patches after its inception and i dont touch pvp but you dont see me holding a torch and pitchfork wishing its destroyed and anyone that likes it to go play something else…
Pvp doesn’t exist to 90% of the people playing this game (I’m being generous it’s probably fewer). They literally barely acknowledge its existence. M+ results in watered down spells, classes, specs, and ruins what was supposed to be a fun pve thing to do by doubling down on the go go go mentality that was already annoying in dungeons prior to m+.
Yet it still gets more care and attention than keys.
Dungeons take like 40 mins and you go one pack at a time, lmao
In a way I’m actually sort of impressed at the massive level of coordination and commitment classic servers do to coordinate world buffs multiple times a day, every day, for years.
m+ does not affect
normal
heroic
m0
lfr raids
normal raids
heroic raids
helps mythic raids since you can get some endgame loot there.
how people plays the game is more a comment on how society has tilted towards speed enjoyment over slow gameplay.
even then m+ is one mode out of like 90% of the rest of the game.
also if any game mode literally butchers and buffs a spec is mythic raiding not m+
blizzard literally WAITS for the raid patch to nerf and buff classes
as they did warriors this time around.
It actually affects every facet of the game in a very bad way
I don’t even know where people get this anymore. I didn’t do this in vanilla, I barely did it in TBC until we started clearing heroics and kara and then we never CC’d again. Didn’t CC in Wrath or Cata or ever.
I literally do not know where the taking 5 minutes to coordinate 4 CC’d for a 5 mob pull came from. It has never existed in my play experience in 20 years.
it does not. and i can link you patches where blizzard has purposely nerfed classes because they could speed cleave stuff in raids which caused them to get nerfed to the ground and thus making them suck IN M+ because of it.
but im sure you know what im talking about right?
I think most of the dungeons are great. I just think City of Threads is really boring
It’s boring cause they watered it down for M+. I’m so mad at M+! But alas I don’t do it so it doesn’t exist to me anyway… meh
Was there something more interesting for the middle part in beta or something?
I agree it’s far more fun than raiding imho. I don’t even raid anymore.
cc coordination was something you needed if you were running the same 15 dungeons for 3 years without collecting a single piece of raiding gear. like casual players did. because i can assure you as a classic raider. when we were helping people pregear a new player to go to bwl we wouldnt cc every caster mob in a dungeon. we would go in there and body the crap out of the dungeon because we had 3 content raid patches of padding to not care.
the whole slow and careful thing was something that lives in the imagination of casual players more than anything. people that dont realize that all that blizzard has done is allow people to throw caution to the wind in a few weeks instead than in a few months after a patch is released.
and this is the right mentality to have. you dont like it so you dont do it. theres 80% of the game left to do. and thats the end of it. wishing something its dead because you dont like it. wouldnt float on anything else outside of a video game.
