Yeah I have had all my friends slowly but surely unsubscribe this season. I doubt they come back for Season 2 unless there’s some changes like the Gilded Crests to +8s.
I cannot overstate how much Ret Paladins are overwhelmingly the problem. If I get a Ret that can string a sentence together, it’s usually because they’ve got extensive experience in one or the other two specs.
Pure Ret Paladins are closer to mushrooms than they are sentient human beings.

Well that’s unfortunate because the ret rotation is pretty straight fotward which allows you to be able to focus on the kicking, stunning, hitting the tank with sacrifice, hitting the healer with a BOP if they have adds on them, lay on hands to save someone’s life, hitting someone with freedom, etc. All while being hard to kill and having very good defensives and cranking 1.3-1.6 million overall DPS with ease. They only really lack single target and even then when done right it’s not the worst.
this is why i and a lot of other people have swapped to ret
you have good dmg, utility, and it is easy to play while looking amazing if you can save someone with bop, lay on hands, words of glory, etc
they also gave them an entire toolkit, and damage
these keys are a joke, i remember when you didnt need x, y and z just to be viable
also so funny they are nerfing poison cleansing totem, it is like blizzard are treating the cure instead of the symptom, blizzard is on the side of the disease

The free ez loot trough is drying up.
Loot should be from raids and PvP.
Having a tank round stuff up and then just spam aoe everything down while dodging goo on the ground….slap on a timer to make it seem like it’s actual competitive….
It’s just returning to a state of normal. Dungeon running was always just a step to get people ready for raiding and/or PvP

I respect everyone’s opinion here. Even the salty folks who don’t like M+ and therefore hope it dies a horrible death.
My personal experience is that M+ is far less fun now than it was in DF. Is it because of the key squish? Increasing the level at which rewards are attained? Interrupt changes? Introduction of Delves? The death timer affix?
It doesn’t matter. It’s less fun for me. I’ve unsubbed.
I hope that those who enjoy the changes continue to enjoy them for seasons to come. It’s just not for me.
