M+ Disconnectors Still Get Loot?

I’m pretty sure they changed that policy because people were abandoning keys at start just for a chance at loot.

Now, you have to be there to loot the item.

not to get gold, you dont. and you never did before

Which means there wasnt a change and you cant back anything up lol.

We are talking loot not gold.

Seems unlikely, I’ve never heard of such and that would open the door to such wild griefing.

thank you for actually being someone who isnt just guessing like the rest of these people. you actually play the game lol

Do you have patch notes to confirm this?

Snozex also plays, I just recall a blue post somewhere stating it as such or something along those lines.

you dont get either. ill bet you gold cap right now. stop running your mouth if you arent willing to let me prove it. i already told you i would prove it to you, but you just keep talking

looks like a raid logger to me that plays with guildmates, so he has no idea

No, I don’t. I just recall reading as such from an official source. Some other quirks, like BOEs in Raid will not get sent to your mailbox if you don’t loot them. Despite that happening in the past. (Not sure why they changed it.)

I just remember the justification though.

No one said anything about getting gold so its irrelevant. We are talking about if people get loot or not.

Leaving one run doesnt prove anything.

Your way of “proving it” doesnt prove anything.

No patchnote/bluepost or it it didnt happen.

You should stop pretending like you think you have a clue. You are bad at it.

They did make a post about BoEs in early DF but I dont recall it changing mplus loot.

I’ve found this, but it doesn’t address M+, nor when someone dc’s

Still looking for more.

This thread is turning into an infowar and fast.

It’s conceivably provable with a 5-man group and one person immediately dropping. It wouldn’t surprise me to hear of a bug cropping up and going unnoticed for a bit. But, yes, the anecdote of not winning an item after leaving a key doesn’t stand is proof.

It could’ve also been tied to the RWF. Say a world first raider just enters a key, and immediately leaves (because they get the loot) and does that multiple times in succession. That’s a lot of extra gear.

so how many keys in a row with absolutely nothing in the mail would satisfy you?

They would have to be the 2 of the 5 to win loot which means it would take multiple runs to even possibly test the possibility.

This is true. I could see them doing something like that.

That’s true. Still, testable by just hammering out some 2s with a group until you see only 1 item drop.

I could see that, I’d think it would be announced though.

Without further evidence? None. You’d also need to prove that each run is completed, and that only one other person received loot. Otherwise you’re just eating that bad rng.

I’ve definitely gotten loot from keys I’ve disconnected from. The run also even showed up for the character on raiderio.
