It should be top 0.1% of EACH SPEC.
That way its not 30% of 1 class/spec because Blizz can’t balance for anything.

Doesn’t look like it’s out in the US this week either. It looks like they finally fixed the “previous high” thing that shows when you link your m+ score to show the correct value, but the “runs this season” stat still shows as combined seasons 3 and 4 numbers. Not sure if they’re having trouble separating runs this time since there wasn’t an off season week or what the problem is.
Just reroll if your spec or race is meme.
That’d be weird for spec swappers. Either be punished for spec swapping or a situation where they snipe the title.
This would be still be vastly preferable to some specs (ret) having 0 people get the title.
Spec snipers would still have to do all the high keys as that spec to get the title? So at that point they’re not really sniping are they?
Depends on how it would be calculated.
Theoretically, let’s say someone has a score that would qualify them for the title, either by overall standards or by class cutoff. They’re a warlock, and 50% of their high keys were done as Destro, and 50% Demo. Would they qualify for both specs? Neither?
Would it only look at spec score (similar to what Raider io uses), what score they happened to be last signed in as when the cutoffs and titles are issued?
Spec score, similar to raider.io and whichever spec has the highest io on it
Punishes spec swappers then.
When people talk about WoW being “inclusive”, to me that means rewards like this should be geared toward to top TWENTY PERCENT of players.
0.1%???
You are literally excluding just about everyone.
I don’t give a toss about pronouns. Sticks and stones, luv.
To say nothing that “we’re supposed to bring the player, not the class” and this contest does nothing but cement the idea that WoW IS NOT based on that, but is instead built around FOTM.
EVERYTHING about this flies in the face of what makes WoW great. WoW is at its best when success falls under the bell curve, not the extremes. EVERYONE could log in and have fun! That is not the case here.
And the thing is, even without this “contest”, the 0.1% of players that want to push content in this manner … will do it anyway. You don’t need an official contest to highlight it. Let them do their thing, that’s fine. But don’t create an OFFICIAL stratification of players.
It brings NOTHING to the game. Look at those charts-- the only thing it does is highlight the gross incompetence of the class development team. Bring the player, not the class??? ARE YOU KIDDING???
If players are going to push content anyway what does it matter if they give out an achievement for the top .1% per region? It won’t matter or interfere with any of us anyway. You are being heated over nothing. Players can and still do have fun and there are plenty of non FOTM toons pushing keys. PvP Arena rewarded top players in the past and there was nothing wrong that either.
The inclusivity does exist. Everyone is able to pick up a key and start playing. Not everyone has the skill or drive to push to the top.
There’s already keystone master for that.
So what you saying is the chances of me seeing another warrior out in the open world with that title is nearly zero. . Whats the point ? 17 warriors in the entire population who happen to be wearing this title and logging in the same time I am, who happen to be in the same shard as I am so I can say " WOW dis guy did it " and strike a conversation is non existent
Make it top 10 % instead .
10% would be a ridiculously low bar, lower than KSH. Which, you know, wouldn’t make sense.
If its low then why only 10 % have it ?
If the requirements are lower than KSH then the bar is too low. I don’t unserstand the argument. KSE, KSC, KSM, and KSH already exist for the masses.
10 % of the players only be qualified which means 90 % won’t have it keeping it still exclusive but more prominent than 0.1 %
10% would be basically anyone who got KSM, which is a complete joke to get, plus a little bit more. This entire thing just reeks of entitlement.
KSE, KSC, KSM, and KSH already exist for the masses.
I’m totally ok with it punishing spec swappers, the title is an award for dedication. Better that than some specs having 0 titles because they’re so undertuned
They why only 10 percent have it if it a joke to get, 100% should be having it then.
You looking at only your perspective mate how you view the difficulty
Explain to me why the seasons-end achievement should require less of players than the already existing and season-long achievements of KSE, KSC, KSM, and KSH?
Btw, KSM was 22.7% and 6.7% had KSH.
