You’re a fool if you don’t think raid tanks last expansion weren’t having to spamfarm Blood-Spattered Scales. (Every season!)
IQD, Unbound Changeling, Poxstorm, Phial of Putrefaction, and Souletting ruby to name a few more.
What do you need Scale for in raid, you hardly ever need snap threat for anything. The first two raids had cheat death trinkets which are wholly more valuable in raid than a shield that scales with the number of enemies hit.
The top tank kill for Mythic Jailer used Reactive defense Matrix, a trinket from the previous tier.
There have been some items that are BIS that come from M+; it’s also much easier to grab 4 of your mythic raid guildmates and do a 15 DoS for trinket in your Vault than it is for me to find 19 people to down Mythic Sylvanas.
Normal and heroic raid gear has never been more powerful. It’s all upgradeable to pretty much mythic raid level -4 ilvl for normal items.
Even if you don’t obtain any aspect crests you’re still able to upgrade every slot to 437.
Tier is also super easy to get compared to previous tiers with omni tokens and increased drops / vault rewards.
Your takes on this are stale. Dungeons have been required for raiding gear since vanilla.
Not even close to as much of an issue.
In every mythic guild I’ve ever played in you could practically stack rank the players by skill and stack rank them by RaiderIO score and the lists would be almost identical.
Players who push keys get better at playing their class and improve far more due to the much larger responsibility you have as 1 player in a 5 man versus 1 player in a 20 man raid.
+20s are harder than early mythic bosses. You’ve killed 4 mythic bosses but haven’t timed any 20s…
Assuming you do 2 full clears (1N, 1H) in a week, you get on average, about 4 items on a given person. Then you’re done.
Assuming you can spam clear 17s week 1 (which wasn’t too hard), you can end the week having replaced all of last season’s gear, as opposed to having an expected value of still wearing 12 items from the previous season.
Sure, use emojis because I provided an example of your logic being wrong. One of those cheat death trinkets was used to cheese a boss encounter, though I can’t remember which atm.
DoS Scale doesn’t even have a representation above 1% for a single Fated Mythic Final boss kill, but sure what do I know?
For non-fated logs that aren’t archived its around 2%.
So you’re trolling.
You want M+ gear to not work in raids, but you don’t want the other way around.
So you’re trolling.
And Brewa is a tank / guild master who looted Ominous Chromatic Essence to himself instead of prio’ing it to a DPS
How do you know that it wasn’t in the vault?
It’s upgraded. Guy belongs on a watch list.
…
you can upgrade items you get from the vault…
Are you actually clueless or just here to troll?
And if you don’t like raiding/don’t want to raid, is that a bad thing?
Frankly if M+ gear didn’t work in raid, I would never step foot into an M+ again, AND I would be happy about it!
But they’d also have to change upgrade currency since right now M+ is my main source of crest farming because of the raid lockout situation (i’d love to clear normal several times til i get my crest cap but raid lockouts ruin that so I have to M+)
Judging off logs he appears to have not looted it on a Tuesday. Beyond that I can’t tell. I just hard disagree with practically every take he has.
Spouting off about M Raid being much harder than keys when he hasn’t timed a single 20.
Love how you cut just a sliver of my post, I really am 100% fine if raid gear don’t work in M+
But if M+ gear don’t work in raids, i’d never step foot in M+ anyway, because I hate M+ and only do it for the sake of raiding. This season maybe more then any other due to crest farming.
So you’ve never held a vault until after farm on tuesday?
You’re defending someone who is using Accelerated Agility enchant instead of Waking Stats.
I think your major disparity is overblown and your solution hurts more people than it helps.
