I still don’t understand why M+ doesn’t work like Delves, you just set the difficulty and go.
Idk why keys still have to be a thing.

It’s a very weird “competitive” mode where you compete against no one, and everyone is very sweaty.
To me, M+ is a form of PvP.
You’re just fighting to get into a group, rather than actual combat lol.
Same kinds of ego and whatnot you’d see from arena players.
IKR. Why can’t they make M+ where you need to have 4 other friends to compete. That would be so much better.
Sorry, not friends specifically, even a recruit into the team. MLG, let’s look at CoD, they don’t just invite randoms, you work as a team and learn together as a team. That’s why PuG’s will never work.
Anyway, I just like my WoW to be less esports focused, that’s all.
Yes, if you make it a ton easier people would complain less.
It would trivialize it.
Not really at all.
You can do m+ with 4 other friends./team/etc.
Its barely esports focused at all.
M+ existing is not esports focused.
I see more toxicity from people insulting everyone that participates in m+ than from actual m+ runs.
Oh yeah I know. I’m just spit-balling.
It was originally designed for esports. It’s just not popular at all. But I still refer to it as esports even it’s not like that today.
I mean, yeah true.
No it wasnt.
It was designed to be a form of 5 man content, with infinite scaling difficulty allowing people of all experience levels a chance to participate.
Previously dungeons were near useless. Their entire purpose was to be a stepping stone to raiding that you quickly stopped doing and forgot about. This gave 5 man content an end game pillar of its own.
I remember going to SW bank to be inspected before getting an invite prior to third party methods of vetting people.
I pretty well recall M+ being harder to break into in Legion when bricking your key meant it depleted entirely.
More or less been the most popular content in the game for a few expansions due to an aging gamer base who prefer not to have to play the game on a schedule.
Legion also had worse unavoidable damage spikes, that would result in one shots. And greatly limited specs advancing based on lack of defensives.
It was around the time that esports was booming. I will die on this hill. We can agree to disagree.
shrug
You do you, my man.
But I dont see how doing +2s is an esport.
Or finally having 5 man end game content is an esport.
Esports are probably bigger today than they were during Legion.
I have limited experience with it. I think I had my own key bricked once or twice and found getting group invites to be longer than I cared to sit around for, so I just did raiding until BFA when M+ kind of exploded.
Not really something for you guys to argue about anyway, the post was basically blaming M+ for ruining ‘tank n spank’ WoW, and raids are far more advanced than they used to be, so returning to a system of raid logging would still leave the same players who avoid M+ with a content gap.

Sorry, had to do it.
Carry on …
WAYWARD SON
These days, it’s not a good esports. But I genuinely think it was designed to try and enter the esports scene. It’s incredibly unpopular expect for twitch streamers or whatever. I think they were pushing for esports and it didn’t really work out.
There’ll be peace when you are done!
Lay your weary head to rest
… Don’t you cry no more!
Mythic + is fine
Majority of the people who do mythic + are fine
I also fine it hard to believe you just randomly deleted an account and started a new one just too complain about mythic +
The MDI and Great Push gets decent viewership.
But its entire point was to be a mode of end game content for 5 man groups. That is ultimately why it was designed.
That’s irrelevant bro. I’ve had multiple accounts. I get bored. I delete accounts and start new ones because I find the fresh feeling of a new account satisfying.
Obviously that’s true. I just don’t agree with it. I think times were better prior to M+.
They do, it’s called delves which can be done solo or in a group.
You choosing not to engage with certain content isn’t an M+ problem but a player created one.
