It’s meant to be like that.

It’s not a bug or an issue… IT’S A FEATURE.

Do I want same stuffs week after week? Nope, that’s boring.

I hate Explosives weeks but I am adjusting/managing to handle it.

Is it? Like, worse than for melee?

Necrotic yeah that can go die in a fire.

Explosive is a free affix now, they have 5 health each…

Yes? Sanguine is free for melee just don’t be a dummy and get trapped… frost mages slow all their targets so they automatically cause mobs to stand in sanguine longer than they should, therefore significantly increasing the time of the run

Yeah, I noticed that.

Explosives on +15s on BFA was so painful. I cant forget it.

But one of my PuG groups got destroyed with Explosives on Mist last season. I thought it would be easy. It’s not when on Explosives week.

Just gotta assign one person to kill them - should usually be the healer, and it’s a cakewalk. Plus a backup if there’s big pulls If your group wiped to them it means all 5 members were just tunnelling.

Let rage quit and leave afix

It’s easy to say that. Have you tried the 2nd boss of Mist when he summon the adds and several orbs pop out all over the map. A healer would do it all? Good luck.

Slowed mobs dont significantly increase time on sanguine unless your tank is already bad. They might take one tick extra at most for a good tank. Slower even makes it easier to drop in specific areas and patterns. Frost mage is 500% viable in sanguine dungeons. You might not pick the talent that adds extra slow to their slow, is all.

Dks are fine in necrotic. All tanks are for most keys that anyone is doing.

Dps get ones near the target add, tank and healer cover the other three. Easy.

Yes… stand in the middle and use a ranged ability to kill them all. Have a ranged player give you a hand if they’re overwhelming.

didn’t say they weren’t viable, just that they make it slower. 1 extra tick makes the dungeon slower, even though it doesn’t seem like much when it’s almost every add that adds up. There are also casters or channellers that can be in there a lot longer with a frost mage if you mess up kick or knock rotation

Don’t get me wrong, there are affixes I really hate.

This is where wow fails at endgame. If i were able to swap covenant abilities on the fly, go myriad, and use the phial to remove necrotic, I’d be apt to play during those weeks.

If I mained a spec that was punished more than others, I really want alt catch up to be a breeze and basically handed to us so I can swap to another class during certain weeks.

I don’t think so, it’s meant to require you to play around it (not standing in volcanos, targeting orbs etc.) but it’s not intended to penalize specific specs.

The OP’s examples are because of how those specific spec toolkits interact with affixes that demand constant kiting. If fights where you can’t stand still ever are going to be a thing, then all specs need tools to deal with those situations.

Quaking kills convoke on feral, if feral was even still alive in m+

That would be… “That guy that just leaves in the middle of a run”

It’s what I call a 5th affix.

That’s just an L2P issue… get a quaking timer WA and don’t cast it right before quaking goes off

Add a monk asserting dominance to the sanguine group.

You haven’t lived until you take a group near a corner about to die and a monk drops their pants and ring of peace the entire pack into the corner and resets the entire pull.

Absolute Chad energy.

(old) Explosive > Guardian

Orbs are immune to your main attacks. The only things that can damage them are Mangle on a cooldown, Moonfire which is a DoT, and Maul which eats your rage bar.

Spiteful /Assassination rogue. Makes it extremely difficult to get back into stealth between pulls.

Yes frost mages PASSIVELY slow mobs. That’s bad when healy puddles are dropping.
