Everyone complaining about io is trying to pug keys with strangers. These strangers don't know you so use io to try to find the best player possible. Doesn't always work that way but it's better odds
Do you actually play this game? Or do you just rely on regurgitating the same garbage everyone else does? I have a handful of friends in this game--one of them works 10 hours a day, the other one's computer just nuked (he was dangerous in mythics anyway)...your assertion that everyone who plays this game magically has a schedule that aligns with everyone else in their friends list. This is nonsense. This game shouldn't rely around a selected few in order to run content with. Anything below a +10 should 100% be puggable. End game is a different story, but entry level Mythics should absolutely be puggable.

Last expansion I had NO TROUBLE PUGGING (pugging. randos. strangers.) +10's in 870 gear the first 4 months of the expansion.
This expansion, I suspect that were I NOT uninstalled, and were I wearing ilvl 450 gear from the end of BfA, I couldn't get into a god damned +2

You know, itâs these kinds of snide remarks that really drive the stake into the âM+ community is toxicâ generalization.
Funny thing is and I know I am not the only but I only do the same dungeons and maybe 2 mythic + a week for the cache.
I usually aim for 6-8 + keys and completed then numerous times. I know my IO score is bad because of the low volume but it doesnât mean I donât know what I am doing.
I picked a few of the easier dungeons and have been learning them well to the point where I can time a +9 motherload, freehold, or atal (the three easiest).
The problem is
1) This still leaves me with a low io score
2) I always get a key for Kings, Tol or Shrine
I jump for joy when I get a motherload 9 key because I know i will have a 10 to run that week for completion.
Iâm 1300 io and canât get into +8s ,9,10s pugs on my 363 ilvl DH alt.
Cant get into + 4-6 on my 335 ilvl tan alt.

Blizzard has tuned +3's like old +10's.
You have to study and memorize complex formulas for the route to travel, TRASH ability and all sorts of other garbage.
They decided to make +3's an esport.
They have ruined mythic plus, GG Blizz.

The game is dead, but raider.io is required to have enjoyable M+ Pug experience, only people who are to lazy to work on there score or just plain suck hate the addon.
Sure, and by lazy you mean:
-Not willing to spend 20 hours a week grinding all mythics -Not willing to study for countless hours guides, videos, etc.

Why would you have to spend more than an hour a week doing M+ runs to get a decent score? The problem isn't that yo u won't put in 20 hours a week and countless more hours studying guides. It's because you won't spend 5 minutes figuring out how to do anything and make insane claims like 'a 3 is like a 10 was in legion' which is completely ridiculous.
You're mentally lazy. In a video game. Yes, you can actually put in more effort. Yes, in a video game. Even someone like you.
The question should be, why do you care? It is after all their group, so what if they want to use raider.io to determine who joins. Hell for that matter it shouldn't matter if they do a round of roshambo to decide it. Just move on or use your own key, you get one of those every week.
The problem arises when everybody wants to check .io for M0, because then you can't even GET a key to start with.
I've not done an m0 in BfA yet, so I probably have a score of zero.
How many people are gonna take me? Probably hardly anybody and I have terrible luck with trying to start my own group, I've tried it before, never works. People who are going to join would probably end up checking .io and they'd see the party leader has a score of 0 and go "nope".
And as I said earlier, with Siege of Boralus and now Mechagon being Mythic-Only, I guess I'm missing out on a large chunk of what little story the game has because of these stupid Mythic-Only dungeons.

The hysteria has got to stop. NO ONE is using m+ score to make their m0 groups. NO ONE would look at a group leader for m0 and not join because of a 0 m+ score. These made up scenarios are insane. There is no catch 22 to doing mythic dungeons. You don't require a higher score than youget from the dungeon 99.99999999% of the time to join a group. You can live with 0.000000001% of groups asking for m+ scores that are higher than what the dungeon would reward and live right? Or is that just proof that the system is rigged against you?

I wouldn't go so far as to call a +9 Kings key on fortified week a faceroll. Maybe you overtuned classes but for a guardian druid it can be death around every corner.
The whole raider.io thing reminds me of back in wrath when the gearscore addon came out, people would ask for larger gearscores then you could get from running the content. The biggest issue with raider.io is that if your not rushing out at the beginning of the season to get all of the mythics done then you dont even count to a degree.
I personally have horribly conflicted feelings about this topic as someone that was a pretty hardcore raider in the past and casual now. It is very true that having "scrubs" in groups or raids usually causes all kinds of problems. I never had an issue with people being new to content. I had an issue with people being too lazy to listen to direction, read up on strategy, or even prepare for the run.
Eventually over time people started asking players to link achievments to get into groups and raids. I was ok with it at first, but over time I really started to dislike it. Everything in moderation is fine, but it started to get really ridiculous. The really amusing part was that some people were carried through places and had achievements for things that really proved nothing because they still couldn't do the content without being carried.
Then it was gear score, I-level, and now this IO add-on everyone is up in arms about. I think everyone has the right to want a smooth run and people can put whoever they want in their groups, but Ive seen some out there joking about having an item level of 10,000 and an IO score of a million and they couldn't get into a group. Its said as a joke, but its said because its gotten out of control which is what seems to always happen with this.
I did mythic + in Legion, but didnt care for it as Legion was winding down. I havent done more than Mythic 0 in BFA because I really dont want anything to do with it anymore. I dont believe there is a good answer to this topic that will satisfy both sides and I choose to remove myself from all of it. Blizzard turned dungeons into an e-sport and I dont really have any interest in what it has become, and the IO score stuff just makes that worse.
People are free to set whatever requirements they want for mythic plus groups they form. The reason they put "checking io" for a 3 or 4 is because they want a smooth, quick run with no problems and no drama. I've seen mythic 3-4 groups crash and burn like you wouldn't believe so I can understand why people would act like this. It might come off as a little douchey, but what can ya do?
What can you do? Stop playing this horrible game, thats what you can do. Why play a beta?

Iâve done 12s with a guardian Druid and 14s with a Prot Warrior.
Obviously they are not as good as blood DKs or Vengence right now.
But anything where you donât have to deal with infested is just straight pull and ape zergfest faceroll with any tank.
Even 10s are Easy if u know how to CC infested and or kill it.
Iâve literally been kicked from a normal freehold while leveling cuz I told the group to click on the rat.
People just donât like learning. That is the problem.

Have any of you guys complaining about groups tried tapping your social circles for people to do M+ with? My score is trash because I havenât done 3 of the dungeons yet but I usually clear a 9-10 for the weekly.
Also the the Tauren above complaining he spent 5hrs in queue for 2 M+0âs Iâm going to call Bs. My 350 prot warrior with no raiderio score got in to groups in no time.
I don't use Raider IO but I usually run with Tank/healer combos so we make our own groups.
I'll usually invite anyone that queues up, has the ilvl and communicates. For +0 I'll take literally anyone, I've taken 310 people before, dungeons were completed just fine.
I have had bad groups on +3s, maybe IO could have helped? I don't know. I do like to give people the benefit of the doubt, it is a game after. As long as people are courteous and not just a body, I don't care.
