This is becoming increasingly more common, and I laugh every time I see this.
Am I missing something here?
I do one M+4 a week for the weekly chest, and that's about it. I don't have the best io score in the world (only 266 atm) because I don't try to, I literally don't go above +4, and most of mine are +2s). If I don't make the timer, I don't really care, I still get loot for the week.
But I'm still at a loss for why people checking io for +3s and +4s lately? Literally 90% of groups in the group finder are doing it. +4s aren't hard. I've only struggled in them once, and that was last week in a Shrine +4, and thats cause we had a mage that wouldn't stop AoEing during Bursting. And I've missed a few timers here and there for other reasons, but nothing really hard, just people not really knowing mechanics.
I know, just make my own group, and usually I do if I have a key. But I normally start with a 3, and if I 2 chest it, then I get a 5, and I don't do 5s, so I end up having to search for a 4, which leads to this, lol.

I can't even get into a +0 on my 342 alt. Lol. I have to make my own groups on her.
People are free to set whatever requirements they want for mythic plus groups they form. The reason they put "checking io" for a 3 or 4 is because they want a smooth, quick run with no problems and no drama. I've seen mythic 3-4 groups crash and burn like you wouldn't believe so I can understand why people would act like this. It might come off as a little douchey, but what can ya do?

The game is dead, but raider.io is required to have enjoyable M+ Pug experience, only people who are to lazy to work on there score or just plain suck hate the addon.
I couldn't get into a +2 with a 500 I.O. score on a 373 Ret Pally.

No, people are not "generally stupid and suck".
Blizzard has tuned +3's like old +10's.
You have to study and memorize complex formulas for the route to travel, TRASH ability and all sorts of other garbage.
They decided to make +3's an esport.
They have ruined mythic plus, GG Blizz.
Way Way Way overtuned.

Sure, and by lazy you mean:
-Not willing to spend 20 hours a week grinding all mythics
-Not willing to study for countless hours guides, videos, etc.

This is why I think +0 should be on LFD to be honest.
I can get the +1 and higher being manual group only, but with there being dungeons that you MUST have on Mythic, they should at least let you Q up for +0. I've done one, once and they aren't *that* hard if you have enough I-level. Just slap a 340 requirement to join a +0 LFD and call it a day.
That, or stop with the "Mythic Only" junk and give us Heroic versions of these dungeons.

M3 only? I've seen M0 checking Raider.io.
Also, you start an M+, leave, reset and get a lower key level. Just downgrade your own keys to what you want to do.

I seriously doubt that, I am no where near that score and I get into +7s without much trouble. If you are 1.3k and can get into 8s there is something else wrong...
Stupid and annoying AF. Can go DIAF. Didin’t get a chance to get a key last week on my hunter being 355 BM, having completed the dungeon on time previously and these little !@#$heads decline me for a +4, +5...spent almost 30 min trying to find a group and pray one doesnt disconnect, rage quit out, curse on people or bails. Really fkn annoying...

The problem arises when everybody wants to check .io for M0, because then you can't even GET a key to start with.
I've not done an m0 in BfA yet, so I probably have a score of zero.
How many people are gonna take me? Probably hardly anybody and I have terrible luck with trying to start my own group, I've tried it before, never works. People who are going to join would probably end up checking .io and they'd see the party leader has a score of 0 and go "nope".
And as I said earlier, with Siege of Boralus and now Mechagon being Mythic-Only, I guess I'm missing out on a large chunk of what little story the game has because of these stupid Mythic-Only dungeons.
Terrible, Terrible idea.....

Stop exaggerating. It’s not that common.
I get declined for +4’s on my 360 ilvl. To assume it’s because your IO is low is asinine. They could have chosen someone else, had a friend join, delisted, or just filled the group.
Get over it and join another. That’s my only advice.

So we can only experience the story only after it's obsolete? That's just awesome.... *sigh* Why not just release the heroics now instead of forcing the more casual players to wait to experience the story out of chronological order? They can just nerf the rewards, or remove the special shinies or something if it's really that stinking important that the snowflake mythic players get their snowflake items.

And it's stupid. Queue systems exist for a reason, they allow people to actually get in and do content. Why do you think LFR was made? Because Blizz saw that the vast majority of players don't raid, at all, and they are making content, spending ridiculous manpower to do so, that very few people ever get to see.
I remember Sunwell being like <1% of the entire playerbase. That is not cost-effective whatsoever (which is why we've not gotten raids with that sheer amount of difficulty since, outside of optional modes, like Mythic Raids).
