Lvl45 can't queue heroic dungeons despite having quests to do them

i’m a lvl 45 monk doing level-appropriate legion content, trying to complete my class hall. “cathedral of night: altar of the aegis” is necessary to progress, involving a heroic-only dungeon. groupfinder only offers a nonheroic option, and custom lfg is unavailable to 45s.

I have observed this also. When you are in Chromie time, heroic legion dungeons are greyed out at 45. Mousing over them tells you that “you must advance to a higher level to queue for this”, which is wrong. Would you like a free carry?

that’s very kind of you. i think i’ve found that they just made the next step i need available early “champions of legionfall”. let’s hope they caught such for other heroic dungeon quests.

it would still really be nice if they let lvl45s do lvl45 heroics, i could sure go to farm some of that stupid soulbound blood of sargeras.

I think that even if level 45’s had access to queuing for Legion heroics, so few would queue that queues would never pop. Only xp off characters could remain at that level, and there doesn’t seem to be any sort of community that would support that gameplay.

it’s possible. they pop for my 50s though. i’m getting class mount and i50 gear for magetower while level appropriate, i’d think there’d be a handful of people doing that.

I’m a brand new player to wow in general, I told myself i won’t buy shadowlands unless i like the game. I got to 40’s in level and decided to buy the expansion but work on the questlines in BFA. come to find out i can’t use the dungeonfinder anymore cause it’s stuck on shadowlands. Not only that. i can’t use chromie cause im lvl 51 on a new first account. Now i’m on a “new player” server no one around the entrances and can’t do BFA dungeons alone. very fusturating.

try joining a community on the left of the guild window. the server w/ all my chars died to alli long ago, but i do just fine socializing and grouping via commchats.
