The Renown Track for Council of Dornogal tier 8 did not give me the promised earth encrusted gem. Here is a reddit post of another user experiencing the same issue as me.

since I’m sure it will be asked, yes my character is level 80 and was at the time of receiving the tier reward. I received the rest of the rewards, just not the gem for purchasing an ensemble set. If a GM wants to check my account and see that I only have 3 ensemble sets and have enough tiers unlocked to have 4, they will see that.
I did claim it during early access so maybe the bug was resolved between now and then?

I also did not receive my Renown 8 Earth-Encrusted Gem, came looking for answers and found this.
Same issue here. Never received the gem upon reaching rank 8. I got the other rewards, just not the gem. I have reported this in game, just following up here.

Got 9 Renown today and still did not get the Tier 8 gem, just figured I’d report that in case it was a display issue.
Also didn’t get the gem from 8 Renown with Council. Actually have hit level 10 now and no gem.
Same here. Am trying to also painstakingly explain this through the ticket system as well.

Same. I thought I was going nuts and it would show up later. Been a few renown levels and still never showed up.
Same for me. Just hit Renown 8 and no quest to get the Gem.

This literally just happened to me just now, and I have submitted both a ticket and a bug report. I am level 80 btw and just finished sojourner of Isle of Dorn
You have to claim the gem from the Renown Quartermaster. It’s a one-time quest.
Edit: Apparently this is not the issue. Whoops!
I know this and I did the quest, but all it gave us was the valorstones. Everyone here is having this exact lssue of just valorstones and no gem.

Opened a ticket in game, got a generic response (can’t be claimed by different characters, receive from quest from vendor, etc…)
I replied to ticket saying no to all of this and they just closed the ticket…
A friend of mine who cannot post on US forums has this same issue. So…

They too checked the renown npc. No quest for said gemstone despite above renown 8. And they did not do it on any other character yet either. Would be lovely if Blizzard could fix this so these people get the gemstone still, seeing how wonderful the transmogs are.

Bumping this because I’ve had the same issue. I got all the other rewards except for the Gem.
