It’s coming in the prepatch to TBC. This is a fact. It happened last time and blizz made bank and it’ll happen again (and blizz will make bank again).
If you want to play TBC, why waste your time levelling to 60 now?

Why level when the next expansion is just going to raise the level cap?
Why raid when the next tier is just going to invalidate your gear?

It was a level 58 boost, not a 60 one.

Not enough though to charge a fee for Classic version entrance, to add paid cosmetics, tokens, boosts, etc. to the current setup.
But they do spend money on developers and development time adding other things that were never designed for the content, like dual spec.
There are a ton of things they could do to further monetize the game that they don’t, so I’m not sure how valid of a comment this is really. An example is they could make a $500 tabard that also comes with a title, “Blizzard Shill” and I’d be surprised if it didn’t earn as much or more than all of Classic combined.

There has been enough evidence to suggest that some players are getting their toons boosted by other sites from leveling boosts… so Blizz is all like…okay then, we’ll do the boosting now. $60 and it’s instant.
Blizz boosts give you the crappiest green gear you can imagine. Anyone knows they would be better off just getting to max level the natural way. The boost gear from Blizzard is pretty terrible. So even if they do allow boosts from their $60 boosting, it wont effect anything.
More legit than any counter argument you could possibly make. It’s actually impossible to make a valid argument for why blizzard WON’T implement the boost.
