Dear Blizzard,
Please stop this. It’s ridiculous and AGAIN has turned dungeon runs into a solo mini-game while 4 other players tag along who struggle to keep up and don’t get to do anything other than loot corpses.
Some of us enjoy playing our class in a group environment and not playing follow the leader. We also enjoy/don’t mind the extra 5 minutes it will take.

I’m with you. Sick of 3k HP “tanks” with no idea what they’re doing wiping groups when they try to solo the dungeon.
Brb, making a lvl 10 twink to farm bronze tokens.

And some of us enjoy blitzing through dungeons as quickly as possible to make farming faster.
Why should those players be considered wrong? Maybe youre wrong for wanting to play Timewalking slowly.
Maybe no one is wrong and tleach player has their own way of playing

I just go off the groups vibe. I usually do enough damage to get aggro and let the group kill them off. If they start running ahead or ask me to pull big I’ll go full beyblade. If they want to park at the entrance and let me rush the end that’s cool too. You gotta try at least talking to us.
It was the truth. So many cry babies
It’s a timewalking dungeon you don’t even get to play your class even if you didn’t have a level locked twink in your group lol. Stop caring about your details meter in meme content and go next dungeon.

My only issue is when people que up for a role they have no intention of fulfilling. When I que on my 11 fury as tank, its my job to keep crap from attacking people. I also wait if someone is left behind. if I que up as healer on my paladin, I make sure every one stays healed as I solo everything.

Also, the ques for doing BC chromie time are crazy. I can que tank-healer-DPS and it still takes 30 min
Didn’t they remove the 2x token reward from queueing timewalking runs below level 30?
I didn’t say I wanted to play slowly. As intended would be more accurate. It would take 6-8 minutes instead of 2-4 minutes. The time is negligible in the big picture when calculating load times, dungeons, and whether players can keep up and DPS. It’s playing follow the leader that results in a game I didn’t want to play and if I leave I am hit with a 30 min debuff. We don’t get to play our characters other than run forward and hit movement buffs. That’s my point. 4 players don’t get to play when they are grouped with a level 10 (etc) twink who can outdistance the group consistently and whirlwind (one shot) the mobs. We don’t even get to attack, meaning we are robbed of playing the game we are choosing to play. It’s not a game any longer at that point. You are trapped inside until 1 player finishes the run and the the only thing you get to do is try and keep pace because if you don’t you are locked out of a boss room and won’t get the kill credit. Then it won’t count towards the quest completion and vault reward.
To the person who asked about a rogue keeping up. This toon can but there are 12 other classes to play and some can’t. This is just a toon I choose to post on because it was my main in classic 20 years ago.

People still need the bronze tokens at this point? What for just stocking up on time walking badges cuz there isn’t that much to buy really. Also weird thing to cry about a faster more efficient way of getting stuff.

That’s not true and there is nothing in the post that mentions details meters. You do get to play your class when it’s not a lvl 10 ish tank. It’s not mythic ofourse but that isn’t the point I’m making. It’s about actually playing the game and not playing follow the leader and rushing to get to the boss room to avoid not getting quest completion and vault count.
Personally, I play 13 classes regularly gearing them up to earn the raid transmogs for each up to heroic if I can. I also enjoy learning all the roles of each class. I would guess I’m an outliner in that regard but using the time walking dungeons for the reward helps me towards my goal and also it’s a low-key stress environment for me to learn all the classes/roles and develop the muscle memory for them and how all the abilities work. I do not choose to play this game to play follow the leader in a group environment. I understand that some scaling is going to make it easier at some points. But one shotting mobs so 4 others don’t even get to press an attack button is past the line of what I view as acceptable scaling. I don’t know if anything can be done, but in my view I would not allow a level 10 into group content with anyone past level 20. There used to be pvp brackets so it would stay “somewhat” fair in battlegrounds. If this is the scaling they are going to stay with then in my opinion they should make brackets for PVE group content as well for the same reason. So 1 player can not dominate and ruin the enjoyment of everyone else on a consistent basis. If I ran into a level 10 twink once in a blue moon I wouldn’t bother posting. As it stands players are making a toon to twink at level 10 to run timewalking dungeons to abuse the celebration reward tokens to farm timewalking tokens. I could care less honestly if they get a timewalking mount faster than I get it. What I care about is playing the game I am choosing to invest my time in. I do not choose to play “follow the leader” on a consistent basis like this.

Between 11.0.5 and the upcoming 11.0.7, there will have been over 80k badges’ worth of new items added to vendors. Last week was the first week any were available (on the Wrath vendor).
I just checked with a fresh character and level 10s are in fact still getting the 2 tokens per run from dungeon finder, so I guess this strategy will remain commonplace. The fix I was thinking of was that they removed the timewarped badges from the timewalking weekly unless you’re at least level 30.
Didn’t MoP remix end? These threads sound awfully like the ones complaining about “froggers” (a lot of whom weren’t actually froggers) soloing raids and “not letting anyone else play.”
Good times.

cool, go make your own group then. That way you cant dictate the rules, and only people that play the game how you believe should be played are allowed in.
