We are recruiting for our Heroic raid team for The War Within. We are not currently raiding in S4 as many people have chosen to take a break from the game until TWW releases. Players from all realms are welcome to apply.
WoW is not our second job; most of us have full-time jobs, families, and real-life commitments, which supersede anything in-game. Out of respect for the time commitment of our raid team, we do require a certain level of performance from applicants and permanent raiders (see “Parse Requirements” below).
We welcome raiders with any prior raid experience, including Normal only. We are thrilled to support less experienced players in their development as Heroic raiders. The performance requirements for applicants are less than those for permanent raiders, as we are committed to supporting less experienced raiders.
Raid Schedule
- Fridays: 10 PM to Midnight Eastern Time
- Saturdays: 9 PM to Midnight Eastern Time (+20 Minute Break)

General Requirements
- English fluency
- Some raid experience (excluding LFR)
- Positivity, kindness, and patience
- A drive to improve as a World of Warcraft PvE player
- Ability to commit to scheduled guild raid times and willingness to provide advance notice of absences whenever reasonable and possible
Parse Requirements
Why require specific parse percentiles? Doesn’t this promote a toxic, numbers-focused culture? Hopefully, no. Our parse requirements are in place out of respect for one another’s time. Because the guild asks raiders to commit four to five hours of their weekends to raiding, we also have a responsibility to promote smooth and efficient progression. These requirements ask all raiders to perform at or above average. That way, raids are challenging because of their mechanics rather than low team output. We celebrate strong performance and work together to support players in addressing subpar performance. We are a team working together towards a common goal.
For applicants and permanent raiders who have completed < 9 guild raids:
- Average parse of > 30th percentile, by iLvl, in the relevant metric (healing for healers, DPS for DPS)
- For tanks, an adjusted tank score (ATS) of > 30
For permanent raiders who have completed ≥ 9 guild raids:
- Average parse of > 50th percentile, by iLvl, in the relevant metric
- For tanks, an ATS of > 50
The ATS formula is: (0.5 × Average DPS Parse by iLvl) + (50 × (HPS from Highest-Performance Log ÷ DTPS from Highest Performance Log))
