Lust changes

How would you guys feel about changing lust where depending on what class casts lust, it gives a different boost?

For example:
Shaman lust gives 30% haste
Mage lust gives 30% crit
Hunter lust gives 30% versatlity
??? [some 4th class, maybe monks?] gives 30% mastery (note: i mean mastery points, so for feral druid for example, this is actual 60%, for affliction lock this is like 75ish%)

All of these lust give the same sated debuff and can’t be cast if you have that debuff, so it helps out by bringing in potential options for all lust specs. It would also diversify roster based on stat priority, and like the haste lust, it would work by multiplying the affected stat by 1.3 rather than just +30%

This means the hunter lust would be good for tanks, the mastery lust would be good for affliction and druids, the crit lust would be good for fire mages, and the haste lust is still good for generally everyone.

It also makes these classes more unique

It would always be haste lust, GCD reduction too big.

The 30% versatility could come in handy

I disagree very strongly, especially with the vers lust and tanks

a better idea one lust but it give the buffs to the right class

imagine the lust classes are fighting to see what lust is more important

I like the different stat bonuses idea, but just make them different spells instead of versions of bloodlust.

i feel like they need to remove Lust from mages and hunters and give those 2 other buffs well NOT mage in the sense mages already bring a 5% int buff.

Or let’s take lust away from everyone except shamans …like how it was originally.

I think all tanks should have heroism and it should always be haste. Same with all healers getting brez. Some DPS can have it, sure, but now it’s not as important.

tanks with lust could be a o crap button
with a slight decrees in power and could be over ridden the big lust slated debuff

Like the first reply said, haste lust would always be used.

The biggest issue is that this would lead to more class stacking and harder enforcement of the meta. You’d need to bring the ‘correct’ lust for your group and would be exclusionary.

Also crit lust for fire mages would just make them remove the button from their bars. Combust is 100% crit rate and it feels dumb to use lust to not get any real damage outside of another combust up.

The already existing checklist of must have classes for raid buffs is annoying as hell as a raid lead.

no.

Uh no? Tanks don’t kill bosses.

I would assume the community would whip out their calculators figure out which is best for either every situation or on a per fight basis and that’s what would happen :man_shrugging:

I feel like whoever doesn’t have “the best” lust is going to get raged at if they use it when someone with “the best” lust is in the group.

This is of course top end and “wannabe top end” for everyone else :man_shrugging:

Why would you ever press the vers one lmfao??? Especially in a raid.

To survive one mechanic every 10 minutes, obviously. This is all because of AMZ nerfs.

What’s up with your avatar? Is that your staff?

lol that could work, because no matter what your group is going to have a tank which would make lust an afterthought BUT at the same time wouldn’t that make all lust classes less unique as well?

If they each had individual cooldowns you’d have to find the best time to use crit, best time for mastery, etc. Could be really interesting imo.
