Ah, but are you a conga-line of multiboxing herb-bot druids in flightform, farming 1000 luredrops an hour? That’s the question.
Edit: I personally don’t hate gathering bots. Makes consumables cheaper. The price on the AH craters when there’s an endless supply of botted ore, herbs and leathers and then you can craft armor or flasks cheaper. Imagine if the only goods on the AH were gathered by actual PLAYERS. God, a flask would be 10,000g. Especially later in the expansion when very few people are out in the open world (it’s all queue-for-whatever-in-town soon).

I am sure that is getting botted - I was looking for it the other day and used up my buff without seeing one.
They do seem harder to find than most of the others, and I need so many… I put herbalism points into luredrop specifically and I’m starting to get a few more at a time at least. Seems like Hallowfall has been the best for me but Ringing Deeps usually has a handful.

They spawn is dark areas and caves like orbinor, i usually end around 70 between all 3 ranks after my hour looping hallowfall and ringing deeps but im searching more for arathor and orbi when i do so there could be more.
You can also transmute it in bulk as an alchemist for pretty cheap since ore prices dropped if you need a quick but for crafting.

I’ll tell you what tics me off. Gathering the herb, then it just disappears, before you actually get it. Twice in a row, luredrops. Happens on my miner too, with ores. If I can’t gather it, then don’t show it on my stinking map!!!
I’ve killed mobs sitting on top of an herb or an ore, then the node just dissappears. If I told you my reaction each time, I’d get banned from here!

Luredrop is not lucrative to farm unless you’re specced for 3-star. It’s lucrative for thaumaturgists.
I just got 21 luredrops in about 20 minutes in ringing deeps up north. My complaint is not the lack of anything, but the nodes dissapearing while hammering on it.
I swear half of the nodes I get to disappear before I’m done gathering and the other half already have a bot on them. I report all of them. Only got one “WE INVESTIGATED” mail so far.
In about 30 minutes, I’ve had like 6 luredrop nodes simply dissappear as I’m hammering it!!!
