In Ardenwield I was unlocking the Lunarlight Pod in Glitterfall Basin, the lunarlight buds do not appear at all until you have stood on them for a second and activated them. You can see the “fly” or whatever it is where they are so you can figure out where to stand, but there is nothing on mouseover until activated, then it displays and you can mouse over it. You can activate the pod by touching 5 of the buds as you could previously.
Same problem here. Thanks for the tip about the flies. That’s helped!
I’m having the same issue.
You can /target them, and mark them, though, as a work around.
Yeah ok, looking for the glowing flies works for me. Why in the world was this change made? Seams ridiculous to me. Silly change for a problem that didn’t exist. This was working fine before as far as I know.
Yup, it’s now a matter of hunting the flies, so I’m “seeing the same bug” but no plant.
Same, same, flies are a work-around for missing (visually) plants. Didn’t even know about the flies until this.
Oh duh.
I was wondering if updating my graphic cards had something to do with this change.
They’re underground.
I have a targeting macro for them anyways because seeing them was always a pain in my butt, but it came in handy today lol

I also have this issue, started with the patch so I assume it is a bug, if your graphics are low or have poor eyesight it would be invisible.
Thank you for the tip about the bugs…
As @Skoomacat says, they are initially spawning underground. I use a marking macro to find them, and when I initally target and mark, the marker is right on the surface of the ground. When I activate by standing on top, the plant pops back up and the marker pops up with it. (Which is nice accidental feedback but still a bug.)
FWIW, here’s my macro.
/cleartarget
/tar Lunarlight Bud
/run if (GetRaidTargetIndex("target") ~= 8) then SetRaidTarget("target",8) end
I can see the flies, and open them, all except one. The one near the road. The fly doesn’t change to a plant.
