If you were hoping to buy any items from the lunar festival vendors before the scheduled time ended at 10am, you’re out of luck.
Because of the goof up with server time, the festival ended at 2am.
I went to buy two crowns. The NPCs vanished between the first and second purchase.
Unless it’s fixed, Love is in the air will likely end at 2am on the 19th, so spend your tokens the night before!
TY for confirming, I was wondering where the Elder I was just looking for went. I was at 73 coins vs. the 75 I needed for the heirloom. At least I got some XP. I hope someone fixes this or the time on the calendar for next year.

This is why we need an in-game holiday store where we can spend holiday currencies year round, or at least for a month after each one ends.
So not just me, dam just camepd 4 carters at vendor i was going to buy hairloom upgrads with. While got more coins on another char. dam should have used coins first. lost on 4 upgradeds. better not do same with hearts for love fest.
Weird i have coins still in bag surprised they dint disappear. Need to sleep if wake at 7 or 8 im going log in just in case they pop back for a bit.
I’m absolutely fuming right now. Just spent the last few hours knocking out the last sixty coins I needed to get the final handful of toys and crafting plans to complete my collection, when I noticed the elders suspiciously missing 8 hours early
Dang, thanks for this post. I came here because I was scouring for the Elders of Cataclysm achievement and couldn’t find them.
Blizzard, please fix this problem stat!
Much disappoint, only had 2 more items to buy 
At least the coins don’t require the event so they don’t disappear when the event ends.
Very frustrating, was in the middle of doing the Dragon Isles elders and got to a location and it wasn’t there, checked an alt at multiple locations and those weren’t there either. The NPCs gone from Stormwind so I can’t spend the currency I farmed today, at least the currency doesn’t disappear and I can spend it next year.

The actual server time is 8hrs ahead, which I believe is what the EU servers are on. Can’t believe they just left it like that after maintenance.
Same boat as you. By pure luck I managed to grab the hearthstone and buy the Dragonriding armour. Only started my last minute grind about an hour ago. But that’s it. I have a F ton of coins and literally just completed Elders of Kalimdor Achi. All the others? Incomplete.
See, now any other company with a shred of respect for their own screw up would extend the event another week. But I’m not holding my breath for actual good customer support anymore…
I am here because everyone & their mom was at the vendor location in moonglade including horde with their language barrier. Thanks blizzard for ending our event early. We didnt ask for this. Why cant we have events that end and start on time? What excuse is given for something like this? I was going to farm a little bit more tokens to buy the remaining toys I needed. Cant now thank you so much blizzard for spoiling the party!

My wife spent 100 coins on the four crowns and was just starting the quest-line to collect the flowers and make the transmogs permanent.
Event ended before she finished any of the quests.
She mad.
Yeah, the one time I find the motivation to grind out rewards is the one time it ends early. Didn’t have much time to play throughout the week, so sucks that it ended early on me. I almost had the last bits of what I needed. 
Half a dozen people standing next to where the pillar of light was at the SW gate in Elwynn at 3am, dumbfounded.
My sympathies to those who got cucked out of their holiday rewards.
Will keep this in mind when looking at the Love is in the Air ending time…
I suggest you all make a support ticket under In-Game Issues with Achievement. Complain about this. Maybe for once Blizz will actually care if enough people kick up a stink about it across the forums and support tickets. Screw waiting an entire year for this stuff when by Blizzard’s own admission the in-game calendar says 7 hours from now AND even wowhead does too.
No excuse for this.

My ticket pretty much goes full karen and says this is unacceptable when you’re failing to adhere to your own punctuality and time commitments. I took a screenshot of wowhead also confirming that the event ends at 10AM, because Blizzard support love to try and get you to go to wowhead instead of making a ticket with them. I asked them to extend the event by a week (because their servers are cyclical and thats less complicated of a request than asking for an extra day) and pretty much said other game companies can and would rectify doing their players wrong like this.
Now I just wait and delude myself into thinking they actually give a slag how we feel about this
See, normally I wouldn’t complain about currency being saved up for future endeavors…but, my complaint is that you have to wait a whole year just to spend the ones you grinded for the current event. It’s one thing if you logged on right at 10:00 am when it was supposed to end on the calendar. It’s another when you grinded out within the time window, but then it suddenly ended earlier than advertised. It seems like a bit of a slap to the face honestly.
