Was unable to give the Lucky Doubloon to the raider that soft reserved it in my run Monday night, is this intentional or an oversight on how raid loot should be tradable?
Two weeks in a row we have not been able to loot this item and for two weeks in a row Blizzard has not cared to help answer any of my tickets or bug reports.
You have not been able to loot the item at all?
There are a few conditions and circumstances around the looting of the item and I wonder if you are just not completing them all.
Please enlighten me, on your experience?
We had done the steps to loot the chest just cannot ever loot the item.
After the normal Kill Balnazzar, and free the Gnome there are some other conditions.
Have you done a soft reset at all between Balnazzar’s death and the looting for the chest?
If YES, you can’t do that and the chest is now unlootable.
If NO → Have you changed Master Looter to someone else besides the person who was Master Looter during Balnazzar?
If YES, you can’t do that and the chest is now unlootable.
If NO → The person who wants the loot must have been present during Balnazzar’s death.
So you:
- Can’t soft reset between Balnazzar’s death and the looting of the chest.
- Can’t have a different master looter than the person who was master looter when Balnazzar died.
- Have to have been present for the death of Balnazzar in that instance.
Are any of these things you possibly had happen?
Killed it on the information.
There were no soft resets but,
I believe the ML was moved around prior to performing the freeing of the gnome and looting the chest.
If that’s the case this may be the issue. As in my case, we were able to open and “loot” the chest just no one could loot the item out of it.

Seems like that would be the issue.
It’s not very intuitive and potentially tying the death of mason and the tag list from him to the ability to loot the chest would be best in the future.

I guess 3rd weeks a charm…
I sent a fix that will make it be tied to the death of Mason now for being able to loot it, and use that tap list as well. So there shouldn’t be any more despawning or issues around that.
