This season i main a blood DK. and i just want to know what everyone’s opinion on the Luck of the Draw set bonus. to be honest, i actually feel like my overall output in raid actually diminished from last season, and i just got done monitoring my luck of the draw procs for the first time on vexie, and needless to say it procc’s twice…
When i first walked into raid this season with my S1 set bonus i was still averaging round 900k-1m with my S1 set bonus, as soon as i equipped my S2 set bonus, my DPS actually dropped to about 700k, nothing different, same pots, same rotation, ETC. to this day im still confused.
ill take any advice to make this set not bad, but this set bonus just isnt cutting it this season. in a perfect scenerio i would like to match my CD’s when Luck procs, but it just like, doesnt proc, ever? ill also take advice/tips to any good blood DKs out there.
Assuming your gear is the same ilvl, then yea the new 4 set actually is a dps loss from the s1 4 set
Mind you if you have higher level gear, it should make up for it but it’s pretty much one of the worst ones to exist

Can you show your DKs gear?
Your stats look good for San, your talents are pretty good
It would have to be a rotation issue for this, which would require much more details to help improve with so I’ll just do some quick questions
Are you keeping the tome in damage mode as much as possible? It’s pretty worthless when it’s in the armor/absorb mode
During DRW you basically just want to blood boil once and then it’s nothing but vamp strikes with the odd Deathstrike to not over cap RP
If you want like the best help, id recommend the Archeus discord, there’s more than a few people in there who are more than happy to go over logs and help find issues
The 4 set proc itself is entirely ignored, doesn’t change your rotation at all tbh
I think the Tome can play a part in it for sure, to be honest i suck at managing stacks on it and it usually auto resets on its own between the two modes.
when im popping CD’s for burst it usually consist of
D&C for the DMG buff,
Blood boil for Dot
DRW followed by Vampiric strike spam and using heart strike to try avoiding overcap.
During this burst i go up to about 1.2-1.4ish
