Hi. I have been trying to get help from anyone for 2 weeks now. Why can I not post on the forums 90% of the time they say you do not have a lvl 10 character you need a lvl 10 character. I have done every single thing dr google has said and its still happening.
For the LUA errors I keep getting from blizzards setup, how do we get assistance with that? This is not an addon anymore, this s blizzard. The only feedback yall were giving was either “turn all of your addons off” “ask your other players on the forums.
Where is the technical or ANY kind of support. Where can we reach out to an actual person at now that the addons are not the “problem”?
You can chat with fellow players who know a lot about UI stuff in Guides > UI and Macro but there’s no specific employee-supported channel to raise this concern.
Blizzard disbanded their technical support team about two years ago and the members were either reassigned or moved on to other jobs. These days, Blizzard only has support documentation and forum volunteers. However, a UI error wouldn’t fall under tech support (which focuses on install issues, crashes, and sometimes latency).
Make sure you have a performed a full UI reset, including the advanced steps, before seeking further assistance.
If the players in Guides > UI and Macro can’t figure out what’s happening after you do those steps linked above, then you’ll want to report in Support > Bug Report for the QA team.
Note: The QA team will only respond if they need more info from you.
Because it’s basic, self-directed troubleshooting. I’m not aware of any games that come with concierge tech support who travel to your home and perform the steps for you.
Really don’t know of any gaming company that jukes up their game so bad they need their players to perform UI resets and additional steps to correct the mistake on their end.
