This lua error just started yesterday and today when I logged in it showed up again. Using the “reload ui” brought this back again and I noticed that my “Vehicle Exit Button” is missing. This also happened yesterday as well.

Most likely some addon either needs to be updated or is no longer compatible. I know I had a ton of lua errors the other day and it ended up being my plate addon.
Then why is it Blizzard’s action bar that is being the error? Seems as though Blizzard needs to fix their own parts of the system they created. I update all my addons before I log in every time, so this is really odd.
I went ahead and did a repair on my launcher and nothing untoward showed up so I have no idea why Bliz’s own action bar is causing this problem. Usually, when I get these lua errors the culprit usually is included in the error notice so I know which part to look into.

Getting essentially the same error with all addons disabled. The error only occurs once I /reload
from in game.

Same this happening for me, even with all addons disabled. It first occurred on a timerunning character, if that matters.

Same thing for me - first happened on a Remix character. All addons disabled.

Also getting lua error on remix character after downloading a few addons, even after uninstalling said addons I now get it every login.
Auto-loot and some UI elements are also broken.
Edit: I think this is being caused by the scrap and gem extracting abilities in Remix, as they don’t show unless certain action bars become disabled after the error. downloading any addons that interact with remix gems or scrapping will permanently create this lua error (such as Narcissus)
I’m sure you’re right that it is related in some way. I was trying to get rid of those huge honkin’ special action buttons when I ran into this. Dragged them to an action bar, didn’t work. Read it only works if you drag them to an action enabled in the WoW UI, so I turned off ElvUI, enabled one of the extra bars I used, moved the abilities, and this error started popping up. It persisted across reload, relogs, etc.
Interestingly, the next day when I logged in, the error was gone…but it had also reverted where I moved the buttons.
Yep. Same here.
I had Elvui but ended up uninstalling it after getting used to the base UI on alpha.
I think this is related to the problems I had in the Isle of Thunder scenario where you jump from one pterrordax to the next. The instant I entered combat, the “jump” button disappeared.

Bro did you read the replies before posting this? Everyone here is getting it with or without addons.
That being said, for me it stopped after 10 minutes of scan&repair, ONCE. A reload to fix a different LUA error (this time, caused by an addon) caused the Blizzard Action Bar error to resurface.

Even with all the hot fixes and the updates, this is still occurring on my login now. I also did another launcher repair but still nothing popped up on it ‘again’ so Bliz has an issue they need to address.
Yesterday after I ran an LFR with my guild mates on my new Panda Remix shaman it happened to her as well. I had to do a reload ui function because things got stuck and low and behold guess what popped up after that? Yep, another lua error on Bliz’s actions bar, this time on a different toon in the new Panda remix.
I am getting a LUA error for Blizzard Action Bars as well, seems to only be happening in the new starter zone.
