LUA error - all addons disabled

I’m getting a LUA error when I try to buy from the AH. I have disabled all my addons, but still get it.

Hey there,

In some cases disabling addons will not resolve corruptions they may cause in other game files/folders. I might still suggest moving them to a new folder temporarily using these instructions.

I followed the instructions. I have no addons, I uninstalled Twitch, but I still have the problem.

Does this error happen at any specific parts of the game? Such as checking pets on the Auction House, pet battles, etc?

I’m getting the same error when trying to purchase pets from the AH. The error appears once I click the pet.

No addons installed.

I should mention I’ve deleted both cache folders, WTF folder, restarted client and PC but the error still occurs.

If you deselect “Display on Character” does the error go away?

I filled out a ticket. Here’s the reply (this seems to have fixed it):

The game files needed to be cleared are in the steps here. This is basically what we would consider a full UI reset. Make sure to follow each step. https://battle.net/support/article/7549
Note This has you change the name so you can get the addons back if needed. Though in your case, unsure if those have been re-installed yet.

The next step is running a couple chat commands after these files are changed. These basically do a backend refresh of your saved settings. So once you get back in the game enter these exactly as written:
/Console Cvar_reset
/Console Cvar_default
