I’m looking for someone to take over a project of mine for an addon in Classic wow. It’s a raid buff addon than i backported from TBC. Most of it is working except constantly being spammed with “unknown unit” in the middle of the screen and it also doesn’t detect all players in the raid. If interested let me know! It would be an awesome addon to get working for Classic wow.
Well, I can help a tad. Are you using raid1 through raid40 as unit names when you parse the buffs? I wrote a function that scans the whole raid for Battle Shout and it alters a global variable to be true or false so I can feed it into WeakAuras. Trying to put a lot of code into the WA code box is not fun.
Although the addon API is coded in Lua it uses a very specialized sructure that most Lua experts would have to learn. So I’d ask for a WoW addon expert instead.
