Free speech doesn’t cover advocating criminal bhavior.
Blizzard legally has 2 allw free speech because it’s a usa company
Sounds like a win win. Guards will attack loyalists and loyalists can attack the guards.
“This stuff sells itself”.
Wishing and talking about technology isnt criminals and bypassing a games bans idnt criminals either
That’s not how this works.
It is look at food places …
You do realize that even a store can kick you out for being a nuisance? Sure they can’t have you be arrested but they sure as hell can ban you from entering the business.
Not over words and any of that they can’t
Yes, they absolutely can.
Look up lawsuits on cake business fact is they can’t when they get the business license they legally cant
The best result for putting this whole thing to rest would have been for letting the loyalists make a choice to renounce their queen or to stay loyal as part of a quest line after the battle, with multiple NPC’s advising them to do so since the entire institution that was her rule has collapsed and the horde council is actively purging those who fail to do so in order to prevent any sort of shenanigans down the road.
When the player stubbornly refuses the NPC’s simply tell the player “OK have it your way” and then kill the character. They die, and then find themselves in the ghost realm we all see when we die, except there is no spirit healer, their body is gone and they’re in this dull blue grey realm forever with all the rest of the loyalists and no way to communicate or interact with them.
Effectively, they’re perma dead and can’t interact with the game going forward on that character.
Your grasp of the law and what free speech is is woefully lacking. I think you should stop while you’re ahead.
You agreed to their terms of service and the code of conduct when you first created your account.
Were the proof I clicked I agree there is non I let my cat click it I didnt agree at all
The fact that you have your account right now is that proof, you literally can’t have an account without agreeing to it.
Actually it doesn’t since Wow and it’s forums are a service, and the communication within strictly speaking isn’t in the US.
This general is usa based so …
There are limits to every right and freedom.
For instance, you can’t yell “fire” in a crowded theater and cause a panic when there is no fire and expect to be protected by “freedom of speech”–you’ll get arrested.
You can’t joke about guns or bombs at an airport and then expect “freedom of speech” to keep you from being arrested and getting a cavity search.
Your rights end when and where they infringe upon the rights of others.
Which matters if you are inside of their brick and mortar offices.
