Lowbie Dungeons are hyper rough right now

As far as reading comprehension goes, unless he has said he is lower than 32, he has enough of a toolkit to tank.

Also, a guardian is not trash in leveling dungeons. If they know what they’re doing they do just fine.

Add to the problems of bear tanking and scaling is that people are like “lulz! it’s easy stop sucking!” and run through it like their lives depends on beating a timer just to sit in the que for the next GOGOGOGOGOGOGO session.

What’s up with this “Oof” thing I’m reading from everyone, everywhere now… Are we becoming monkeys now?

It’s not rocket surgery how much helping is needed?

read abilities and do stuff.

Do monkeys say oof?

Am I playing an entirely different game or something? Aside from the usual dumb stuff like pulling an entire room or just talking trash to people, my lowbie LFDs have been fine from 20-70 from the time AR were first released till now. And I’m almost always healing.

There are a few dungeons that pose some challenge when leveling up. Some of my favorites, scarlet halls, the gauntlet of flames, I love it. I created a Macro just for the player deaths “Player/Players Down, The Fire Lord Cometh”.

Lower Black Rock Spire, the voodoo Hexing Troll boss, she loves to hex then poke with her awesome dagger.

Scarlet Halls, Blade of Light, I love it when I start to move before it gets cast, yet everyone else is just chillin until they get sucked up and die.

Dire Maul, the tree boss that requires you to clear all the other trees before engaging it, or it will summon those adds to it’s defense laying waste to your group.

I could think of more, but meh it’s late.

“Blades of Death”, hey, why is that person moving…Oh Crap I’m dead.

Yes. Try tanking a low level dungeon.

Yikes.

Try being a healer til it gets better.

this is pretty much the root of the issue.

Those that know how to tank it know to kill all the tree adds before you kill the tree boss. It is up to you to tell a group that doesn’t know this, unless they prefer dying a lot. The dungeon mechanics haven’t changed, the player base has in the way they try to deal with it. Most of these people weren’t around to do the dungeon when it was current, or even close to current. They are just speed bumps now on the way to 120. Whether this was your 20th time in the dungeon or 200th, you ought to speak up to your group if you know they are about to do something foolish like not killing any trees. I treat the 15-99 dungeons like the people in my group may never been there, and go from there. You will have smoother runs if you do. Many are willing and eager to learn about this content that is new to them.

Which of course why Vanilla wow is so wanted by a lot of the community. Vanilla was about strategy and taking down certain mobs first, CC’ing the ones who were most dangerous and picking them off last, and generally not AOE’ing groups down. This concept is quite foreign to current dungeons, and draws a different crowd who like that playstyle. The GOGOGO mentality simply has no place in Vanilla. Dungeons would be so much more pleasant if people understood this.

Holy Pally? I find Holy Priests and Resto Shamans to be godlike compared to the pallys when I was tanking.

Unfortunately, when I do stop to speak up, the tank has already run ahead and pulled things and is somehow nearly dead in less than 2-seconds. Then the group fails to heed my warning and immediately runs to the boss, and what I warned them would happen happens. :evergreen_tree: It’s such an infuriating experience that I’ve already decided that the next time I level an alt through that level range I’ll just tank it myself.

Uh…did 2 dungeons at level in a 2 person party and didn’t die…git gud.

Sheesh

Its BFA how hard is it to press 3 button at leveling?
