My LW had only 3 patron orders this morning after reset almost couldn’t do the weekly. I always look forward to about 9 orders.
Please Blizz don’t do a DragonFlight and turn Prof into a second job. Tedious, boring, monotonous need I say more. Part of the reset excitement is seeing all those Patron orders and looking forward to Knowledge points and Acuity.
Don’t make me drop my Prof’s cause it’s become just a chore.
Also on BS Beast Fang and Sanctified Alloy that’s 26,400 Gold guys come on, be a little more responsible with your choices.
Keep in mind a lot of patron orders are considered “catchup” orders and only unlock for the week after you do something for the week (varies per prof). See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0zw9wVW0I8
Think you miss the point. It’s not about catching up. The issue is to drag knowledge points out for months only giving 2 per weekly. Myself and others do not want the tedium that was Dragonflight.
Your post was about getting low number of patron orders. I was responding to why that may be.
You dont always get many patron orders right after reset.
On some characters, I get it 2 or 3 days after reset.
I am getting orders for kp every 4 days now. So the days change each week which is really bad for planning play time. I only get half the weekly orders each time - so I think that’s what the opening poster got - half the weekly orders.
The problem with orders every 4 days is that once every 3-4 weeks you only get half the weekly orders. That happened to me last week - and then I had catch-up orders when I previously hadn’t missed an order.
Yes, really bad for any planning.
To me, those two daily 10xAA quests are even worse with lot of alts.
The 2 daily 10aa quests are really annoying - they are only up for 12hrs - which means as an Australian I have to do them early in the morning or not at all. As soon as I don’t need aa any more I can forget about them. My engineer is done with aa but most other toons still have a number of recipes etc. to buy.
I couldn’t care less about when the orders come in, be it spread out over days or all at once. The real issue was and remains patrons asking for things with 5,000-50,000g worth of mats, not providing mats and offering you 10 acuity, 1-2 knowledge or my favorite, the one-use augment rune.
The runes I do not do unless it gives a +30 skill scroll with it or its a first craft. If it asks for 50k in mats I leave them there also. Take what you can and leave out the rest.
