What is the optimal level 60 class for farming low-level dungeons for BOEs? Something like RFK and below.

Druid hunter pally mage. Low level elites can still hurt you, till you get some raid peice’s at 60.
Hunter AoE farming? Enlighten me, I can see the other options you provide, but I can’t see Hunter as an AoE farmer. Single target boss farmer, sure.
Have your pet gather up everything, then hit it with multishot.
Hunter is dangerous to use. Gotta keep your pet reined in, if he kills something solo in classic you get 0 loot… Or should get 0 loot. Dunno if its actually working that way.

I remember id do deadmines with explosive trap + volley. The trap talent made volley finish them all off like 90% of the time. I also thought id do some dungeons with just my pet on agressive and go afk but that might have been later.
It worked that way through at least Cata, cause thats when I started and you still had Agressive but pet kills were considered Environment kills.
After some searching I was able to verify that up into LK you would get no loot or xp from pet only kills. I know it was changed later I only played hunter at tail end of vanilla and BC. Didn’t like changes to pets after… Weird I know.
Anything that has strong AOE or reflect can clear low level dungeons easily.
Warriors, Paladins, Mage, Druid can all do it very easily. Others can but they’d have pull smaller packs to avoid being swarmed.

It was after Cata, I believe it changed in MoP.
Beastmaster hunters at 60 can pull some big packs when between you and your pet your healing like 500 damage every 5 seconds. But that depends on what your talling about like deadmines or sm there is a big difference in damage between the 2.

A paladin or warrior with a pocket healer, in those lower dungeons, could pull the entire dungeon.
If i recall he didn’t say AOE farm, just for dungi farming.
Yep thats why I said I didn’t see Hunter as a prime AoE farming choice, unless you are doing very low level dungeons OR you are well geared, and even well geared I would have to go with Paladin or maybe Mage. I don’t know about druid, I never play them.
Anyone that can heal and hunter/mage and rogue for lock picking chests.
I remember solo farming all of sm, but usually just the last part, the catherdral on the following classes at 60: arms, fury, and prot warrior, frost mage, survival and beast mastery hunter, and as shadow priest. sometimes even before 60.
also could farm all of maraudon on my warrior at 60 as any spec and on my shadow priest. didnt try on my other classes but sure they could too.
soloing noob dungeons pretty much comes down to not over pulling/learning how much you can pull at once and knowing how to overcome the gimmicky boss fights(if any)
Thats the one thing I always preferred about Hunter farming, always have that reset button.
Mobs reset inside the dungeon.
So any class with reasonable damage can do it
