Since the change to Dragonflight as the default low level experience low level Alliance characters (tested on levels 10-20, not sure what the cut-off point is perhaps even up to 69) have no reliable way of getting to Darnassus and Exodar.
The boat doesn’t work and hasn’t since BFA so a portal was put in but the portal isn’t present unless in Cata timewalking. Additionally the portal in the portal room in mage tower to Exodar cannot be used in the default none-selected Chromie time.
Further the portal to the caverns of time cannot be used.
This is extremely disruptive to Holiday events. For example Brewfest has a quest to zap pink elekks that requires visiting Darnassus and Exodar. By default low level characters will have no way to access these places short of taking a boat from Booty Bay to Kalimdor then flying all the way north.
The non-working Caverns of Time portal is particularly problematic given the 20th anniversary is coming up.
Please alter the portal logic so that basic city portals to Exodar and Darnassus are available in the default low level experience without selecting any Chromie times.
I have not tested which Chromie times they work in other than Cata but this is very problematic.
How to reproduce:
Get on your account which hit 70 last expansion.
Log into a character at level 10-40 (probably up to 68 or so). Make sure they are not in any Chromie times by asking Chromie to return to the present. Go to mage tower, try and use Exodar or Caverns of Time Portal, find you cannot. Go to Stormwind docks, try and find the portal to Darnassus, find it doesn’t exist.
