As the title suggests, I’m experiencing lower frames(60 and not any higher) than before the prepatch(100), I have all addons disabled and all my drivers up to date, is anyone else having this issue? I also can’t enable raytracing, even though my 2060 supports ray tracing and I have windows updated as well as Directx12.
Feel ya bro I have the same issue
Check the vertical sync setting, if you haven’t already.
Same issue. I was getting between 90-100 fps in Stormwind and now stick at 60 consistently.
Check ingame video settings, V-Sync is being enabled by default as well under advanced. All the framerate Sliders are reset to 60.
Also try typing:
/console maxfps 200
You can set the 200 part to any number as the upper limit of fps.
I figured out what was my issue. I had to go into advanced settings and make sure the game was always using my graphics card
try disabling addons, moveanything and vuhdo are 2 of the biggest offenders so far
Just logged in and it was happening to me. Turns out it was using my intel graphics card and my nvidia had an update pending. Hoping that sorts it out.
thank you for this here information, i been " clipping" freezing and game has been unplayable since patch, stuff was reset to where i cant see the bad on the floor and freeze badly, i cannot afford a new computer at this time, so this helps me make do with what i have. if i was able to, i would send you some of me awesome home roasted sumatra coffee beans but alas its pixel land.
I drop as low as 6 FPS when there are a lot of moving NPC’s and in game events such as the legion intro quest. This is not a typo, I didn’t mean to say 60 fps, I mean 6. I have tried it all, checked drivers, checked addons, checked V-Sync. I have a 2060 RTX and had no problem in beta or on the PTR. The game is now unplayable. I went over everything with a computer programming friend of mine over Discord. I’m down to hoping it’s a Blizzard problem and will be fixed by itself.
