Put this in tech support as well.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
AMD Ryzen 3 1300X Quad-Core Processor
8.0 GB
I put all my graphic settings on LOW and get 75 fps, the second i start moving while dragon riding, i get about 5 to 0. what is going on?

I mean, you’re skirting pretty close to the bare minimum with those specs so I’m not surprised. Plus, if you’re using a spinner instead of an SSD that’d definitely cause problems as you travel.
I’m using an SSD.
Drivers updated? What resolution you playing at? Is your pc doing amything in the background? You meet the minimum requirements. Have you looked at what nvidia geforce recoments for settings?
The FPS drops are likely a rendering issue causing lag. Dragonriding is that fast that at top speed some PC rigs might be struggling to process the rendering that needs to be done when traveling that fast through the zones. I experience it a bit myself.
GTX 1060 wasn’t a powerhouse even when it was new and is starting to show some gray hairs. CPU isn’t doing you any favors either with how CPU dependent WoW is. Might be time to start considering an upgrade if that’s feasible.
makes me glad i upgraded to a nvidia 3080 evga 10gb 1 year ago.
That’s the weird thing, any time i let these games choose the recommended settings it’s always wants to max them and i don’t know why.
I have a similar system in that range with an RX 480 and an i5 7600k and i’m able to run the Dragonflight zones between 90-100 fps at high settings.
There might be a specific setting that’s tanking your frames. Trial and error as tedious as it might be is the best way to solve these issues.
I big culprit in low fps that’s been cropping up a lot more lately is your system’s sound quality.
change your audio sound quality in your PC’s control panel. take it down to “CD quality”.
then in your in game audio settings, switch audio channels to 32.
I would love to hear if this improves your experience.
oh yeah- the bnet launcher. Make sure it’s in your system tray and not open when the game is running. The flash graphics can cause stutter.
updating drivers seemed to help with a lot of the issues
