Edit your topic and move it to the aptly named Tech Support Forum.
check your add ons and run without them and see if it does the same. Itd take a few days for most to completely update etc. I have some currently doing odd things with the base Ui. Pretty normal after a patch.
I have uninstalled all addons. None running at the moment
hmm odd. If you go somewhere dead in game like I dunno, undercity or something, does it still seem to slug? or is it just in the new zones? I find sometimes with sharding in new content my fps will tank but its usually fine in old content and evens out after a day or 2.

Its anywhere I go. tried it while I was standing in middle of barrens cause there is nothing around, draw distance on as low as it goes, no change.

I’m seeing the same thing here. I have a Ryzen 7950x and a 3080 12GB.
Ryzen 5900x
1080ti
16gb RAM
Was getting about 60ish fps on ultra 1080p yesterday, now I’m getting about 5-10fps. I wonder if it has anything to do with the new zone. I’m wondering if the game is trying to render it and the plains at the same time?
I just checked in Stormwind and I’m getting 30 fps, which is weird since I normally get 120+ fps. So obviously something is broken. I’d give it a few days till they iron it out.

It’s not just the new zone. It’s happening in older zones as well. I was getting drops in terokkar forest when leveling my priest.
Im experiencing the same thing 12700k 3070ti

I’m also seeing this in all instanced content. In the new zone, it typically sits at 60fps but then randomly drops to 30 for a few seconds. In almost all instances, it drops to 15 or so, but RLP was at 60 still. It’s extremely weird. I’m using an 3080.
You folk are still at an appropriate resolution and render scale?
I tried almost everything, my PC isn’t as beefy as everyone elses but the studder is making the game nearly unplayable for me. my frames will drop from around 70 to 30 every few seconds
Having the same issue as well. Pretty decent computer. Running an AMD 6900XT and a 120hz OLED display just as OP. Was hitting consistently 100+ FPS for the duration of Dragonflight so far. I log in today and I can’t seem to go above 40 FPS.
I haven’t changed any settings since the patch update. I’ve turned off all addons. Set all graphic options to as low as possible. Updated drivers. Reset my computer. Updated Windows lol. Nothing seems to be working. The problem gets worse in dungeons.
Really would like an answer from Blizz.
Since the patch launch my FPS has dropped quite a bit also. I used to push 65+ in Valdrakken, but since the patch I’m down in the low 50’s high 40s sometimes. I’ve noticed there’s quite a few more dragons in the sky? Not sure if that’s it. I’ve also noticed my FPS is more all over the place than before.
I’ve been playing with a 5800x3d and a 4080 for quite some time now.
Same here, before patch my fps was always be around 60+ even in combat but now after 10.1 hit my fps dropped to around 15-25 fps. I have updated driver, try to lower all graphic options and even disabled all addons but none seems to be work.
Same for me. WOW is unplayable at 7 fps.
i7-10700K
Nvidia 3080
Same issue here. On Monday my game ran fine at 60 fps n valdrakken. When I logged into valdrakken on tuesday after the patch hit my fps sits at 7 -10 fps. The game is absolutely unplayable.
My addons are turned off, all of my pc updates are current. Its something with this patch
Same issue
3080
Ryzen 3700x
Before 10.1 game ran fantastic at 144 FPS
