I had my hopes up but yet another year running 20 to 30 toons a day & No mount drop from crown chemical co dungeon. I dont know how rng is set up but I think it needs a kick in the butt… I also run every toon I can weekly for panda word bosses & nada. all that effort & no reward… sigh. I hope some of y’all had better luck with the Love Rocket…screw you rng gods…

I wonder if anyone has ever lost their mind from grinding for this mount. I would not change the drop rate but damn it is ridiculous lol.

Nah that’s about normal. The Love Rocket is practically the rarest mount in the game. I think the rate is even lower than other holiday mounts. But that’s what makes it so wanted! Keep it super rare.

If you ever win it then apply for the lottery too because the gods have found you worthy.

Same story here pretty much. 12 eligible toons, ran daily.

No rocket… But damn I smelt good the whole event.

Yeah it’s pretty normal. I think I am going to throw in the towel and only bother attempting it with a single tank alt from now on.

Edit: With how rng works in WoW it is not all that surprising. A mount with a 1% (1/100) drop rate once took me 350 attempts so a mount with a 1/3,333 drop rate can take more than 10,000 attempts.

no rocket here either… i just got an extra layer of fat from all the chocolates.

Fool’s log: Final entry for the year 2019…My hunt for the elusive love rocket has again ended in failure…I conclude my hunt bitter and disappointed…Here’s to finding this elusive beast…next year…

Love Is In The Air event is a great metaphor for WoW and why it is failing with the younger generations.

RNG is valued incredibly higher than hard work.

Never gets re-evaluated by the devs.

Let’s give them a neckpiece!!!..as we are all wearing Heart of Azeroth.

Nothing is in line with other events. Things vanish after and without alts, good luck ever getting more than one thing a year and seriously 450 for a scabbard? (Sitting on lunar tokens to finish the dragon next Jan)

You can work your entire life for something and still never have it despite this supposedly being a game for leisure.

Devs still not learning to offer secondary means of earning like most other games do nowadays and City of Heroes first did to stop RNG hell. Or heck, chuck the love rocket in the cash store fir $50 and recoup some of your losses, jeez.

Listening to the non-casuals too much on “Keep things one in a billion!” or too old school. While yes, this sucks often for old folks, look at Wildstar who did balls to the wall raids and dungeons and guess where that got them?

I bet on the day when I’m among the very last Wow players, playing the very last expansion, with the game about to be shut off, Blizzard will take pity and just make it drop for me.

Nah, they still wouldn’t.
