I’m very much of a mind that even the worst of people can be redeemed, assuming redemption be their desire, which for Gul’dan it may well not.

Off-topic: In RL Jeffrey Dahmer and David Berkowitz, the Son of Sam, repented after being incarcerated. But there’s probably arguments on how sincere they are/were about it.
On-topic: From the comic short Gul’dan had a brutal life and rejected by the Elements which just led to his misery. But here comes the Void promising him the Power he wanted and after that did everything to make his Masters happy. So I can see him rejecting any form of salvation because what good would it do him or his Masters happy.

It is an interesting turn when those who have committed atrocity also profess their repentance.
Gul’dan did have quite a brutal past. Already born with deformity and enduring being nearly beaten to death can certainly make one doubt any existence of goodness at all. To be rejected by the elements quite likely was a deeper injury even moreso, on the heart and mind. His flaws were quite terribly compounded. We might not find justifiable love for his character, but at least some compassion in knowing part of how he became so twisted.
