Or could just be Robert Deniro going through 20-somethings until he dies by Jemaharon…! (If you raid his house and find otherwise though, totally not going to be his lawyer. haha)

I’m actually here for Lovefool. The topless manly orc with the bounce! I saw Spock around here somewhere too.

Worf: It is settled then, we will be a threesome.
Ryker: Do you even hear yourself?!?!

Fun thread

This thread… It’s giving me a strange feeling… like I feel sorry for another human? That can’t be right

Who’s to feel sorry for? All the happy people spend their Saturday nights on warcraft forums. Hmm… I’m just going to unpause my star trek reruns now… That ‘She Bangs’ musicvideo link I posted earlier has shifted to this mellow piano and classical guitar music…

Tomorrow I fill out some school paperwork for my kid and idly wonder where his mother is.

I love you too, haha
I do hope your own life is well. I’m between wars just twiddling around

Peace!

I’m on my front porch in the rain on a hammock listening to it

That sweet sweet love that a human has for an inanimate object. For… sad reasons

I love sleeping in the forest under the moonlight.

Oh, and Jaina. Always Jaina.

Both but leaning more towards unconditional

I see your idea and I raise you one:

Are all characters, even with their most twisted flaws, worthy of love?
For example, Gul’dan

And I’m not talking about people who want to emulate evil edgy personalities for the sake of trying to be an outlier. Could anyone realistically justify an unconditional love for Gul’dan?

Jesus could.

I would truly wonder about that. I’ll eagerly be awaiting his reincarnation/second coming to find out. Gul’dan would also have to repent, which I don’t think is in his persona, at least not towards Jesus.

I think somebody could love Gul’dan for wrong reasons. Maybe pity, or sympathy. Or even an obsessive love. Or maybe they are just as horrible as he is. Maybe they could fall in love with the idea of him and his goals…fanatical like.

Is that true love? I dunno. lol

But I bet if a person hates themselves enough, are feeling guilty enough of their own demons, they could find love for him.

That’s a great reply. You’re right in that there are some grey areas as whether it is truly love, or strong self loathing, or straight up fanaticism. Those are all complex parts of some of the best love/hate stormy relationships out there.

It’d be like with Kratos.
Gul’dan would surely kill him, but Jesus will return, not with hatred but love, offering not vengeance but salvation.
Surely one who was by everything, even the elements that were to his tribe and self sacred, abandoned should break before such devotion.
I think, anyway.

I mean, by that philosophy the biblical adversary should already have repented and be conquered. The hatred and ambition, the pain of being rejected and cast out of the kingdom should be won over by that kind of love.

We’d have to look at some very complex, ‘who would Gul’dan side with?’ ideas, if both entities offered him a haven from which to stand.
