This is the quest in Westfall where you eavesdrop on the thugs. It sure would be nice if the quest could be changed to allow all listening to the thugs to receive credit for its completion and not just the person who gets the last kill. I’ve stood here for long periods of time waiting for mine to complete. On high pop realms, this is very annoying. I will actually avoid this and lose out on the Westfall experience, because of the hassle. I can’t be alone with this thought.

I also skip that quest and it’s follow ups rather than spend 10-15 minutes trying to beat out the others in line for the quest.

So I had this issue too, as I never played alliance before I had no clue what was going on.
Just realized that I actually have to kill them to finish this QUEST.
As soon as those NPC’s yell “DIE” you just kill them.
And you have to stand close to them to get that conversation started.
I know this solution comes 4 years, late but i thought i just gonna post it regardless for all the others in my situation or new players lol
